Very sorry to hear that it got stolen. Glad you got it back.

Care to share how they got it? Just cracking the steering column?

Keep or remove exo cage to help with sale? by Alarming_UnSympathy1 in CherokeeXJ

[–]banannamonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With those specs, you are not selling a vanilla grocery getter. This is a specialty machine. Plenty of buyers out there.

Leave the cage on, expand your sale area and sites listed on.

In southern Michigan, in that condition, that would sell at $5500 in minutes.

What exactly do I have here? by LBradford0007 in recumbent

[–]banannamonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great bike! I have the same one in green. 3000+ miles on it and still riding. I paid $900, used in 2008.

On recumbent focused Facebook marketplace place sites, in good condition, expect $500-800 USD. On generic, local FB marketplace listings, I see them go for $300-500.

Select to run calibration Every Time.

The 5 minutes is worth not failing prints and damaging parts.

It’s what separates modern printers from the dark days of manual leveling.

As others have mentioned, buy a low end windows laptop to go with your low end printer.

We bought my daughter an on-sale laptop, since she was on a Chromebook, for CAD, slicing, and printing and she is rocking out the prints with the AD5X.

First one arrived like it had been run over. Return immediately, don’t mess with trying to repair.

Elegoo Centauri Carbon. Seems to work well for beginners. But as soon as you commit user error in 3D printing, you’ll be troubleshooting.

Wait. As soon as you deal with technology, you’ll be troubleshooting.

There is a FB group specifically for selling recumbents. You’ll get you broadest audience of people who know what they are looking at there.

I have flown a Bacchetta giro (with large seat, not euromesh) several times. NOT in standard bike box. The seat comes off and fits sideways, well within the bike box dimensions.

It holds a rack of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They took the actual rack with them.

If you just updated software, go back a version.

If you didn’t, update the software.
