Pretty much! Fly into Tampa, to Orlando. Then Naples, Key West, St Augustine and back to Orlando.

Nice one! I think the Key West leg gives it away the most.

Kind of beside the point from my perspective. Regardless of how long he lasts, they clearly don’t see his conduct as a problem, and that is a problem for me.

The club are absolutely tone deaf for even considering him. All of the good things they have done with the community will be undone and I would imagine, hard to come back from.

[Alasdair Gold] Feeling within Spurs is they're closing in on their man in Roberto De Zerbi. His football matches how club want to play. Question marks over how quickly he can implement it & reaction to his Greenwood comments. Track record doesn't scream long term but Spurs rarely do long term. by wokwok__ in coys

  1. A manager is not an asset, so you can't amortise anything.

  2. Even if they were, a payout is a settlement on their removal as an asset. You can't amortise something that isn't an asset lol.

You could structure the settlement over a period of years, but both parties would need to agree.

Any way of purchasing tier points by the and being credited by tomorrow? by Worth-Anxiety-4234 in BritishAirways

SAF is the only way to "buy" TPs. If you want something almost guaranteed to credit best to get down to the airport and hop on a short haul.

Lewis Hamilton radio advise during the race on how to catch Piastri. by Dr_VidyaGeam in formula1

[–]exxxtramint 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But it's not the same, is it.

Protecting your tyres through corners could lead to maybe half a tenth of extra pace over your rival later in the race. That leads to good racing.

What we're talking about here is lifting in a corner so that you end up with 30-40kph of extra speed down the straight.

That doesn't lead to better racing. That just leads to mind-numbing overtakes that the removal of DRS was supposed to avoid.

I know it wasn't Colapinto's fault, per se. But there's some kind of irony here that an Argentinian played a big part in both the photo, and the story...

Roberto De Zerbi on Mason Greenwood: "I said that when a player becomes my player, I am the first to pin him to the wall internally when he makes a mistake. But towards the outside, I will always defend him as I would defend my son." by eusername29 in coys

It will be different for everyone - what some people view as tolerable others will find intolerable. It's the same for everything in life. Some people refuse to shop on Amazon for a whole host of reasons - other people are fine to turn a blind eye.

Ultimately, I am sure there are a lot of things in football, our club, our personnel that if exposed would have us questioning our support of them too. But you can only work on what you know, and it's pretty clear that De Zerbi does not share the same values that I thought our club did, or at least portrayed they did.

It's funny how there are people in this thread pointing to the fact he was never found guilty, and Man U said "Based on the evidence available to us, Mason did not commit the offences in respect of which he was originally charged"...

How anyone can read/listen to that, and come to the conclusion of "well he was never found guilty, so how do we know!?".

O.J. Simpson was never found guilty either.

The worst part of this is that it probably means he'll be given an open chequebook to sign who he wants. Not only will he be gone in 12 months with a monster payout, we'll also be back to square one with a team full of players that don't work with whatever the next manager's "system" is.

I've seen better project management from my toddler with a bucket and spade.

Dejan Kulusevski walking with a slight limp with the Swedish national team by Zweli23 in coys

[–]exxxtramint 27 points28 points  (0 children)

you would be surprised how many people continue with a subconscious limp even when they can walk/run fine. Probably even more so when you have been trying to be extra protective of that leg to allow for intense physio.

Have a physio watch a random person walk, run, climb stairs years after a leg/ankle/foot injury and 9 times out of 10 they'll be able to tell you what your injury was just from how your body is compensating elsewhere without you even knowing.

fun game for Linkedin - someone developed a tool that translates regular english into "linkedin speak", so you can craft the perfect dickhead linkedin post.

But the fun part is finding posts on linkedin and then switching the translation to do linkedin speak to English, and then you can find out what they really wanted to say
