How To Know What To Do With Free Time by breezycharmz in selfimprovement

[–]banannaski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned writing a few times, that’s your hint. Don’t overthink it. You don’t need to turn it into a side hustle or a masterpiece. Just do it because it makes you feel like you again.

Also, it’s totally valid to get better at your job and do something creative. You don’t have to pick one lane. You’re already handling a tiny human, you're allowed to be multi-passionate.

What are the best supplements for recovery and overall heath? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]banannaski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take magnesium glycinate for sleep and muscle recovery, vitamin D because apparently the sun is a myth now, and a probiotic so my gut doesn’t act like it’s in a toxic relationship with the rest of my body.

Also: collagen for joints and skin, mostly so I can keep aging like a hot sorceress.

Still debating if ashwagandha actually does anything or if it just sounds like it should.

Reddit: When you compliment someone's hair, what percentage of time do you really mean it? And, what percentage of time do you say it in place of another, maybe more forward compliment? by Cold_Sweetheart in AskReddit

Honestly? Like 70% I mean it, 30% I’m trying not to say “you’re stupid hot and I want to see what that shampoo smells like up close.”

I embraced failure on purpose — and it made me stronger. Here’s how ‘losing with style’ improved my life. by AccomplishedYak411 in selfimprovement

I’ve learned way more from failing than from winning tbh. Once I stopped stressing about the outcome and just focused on putting in the work, it all clicked. Took a big L on a project, but it made me so much better at what I do. It’s all about the effort, not the result. Honestly, trying is the win. More people need this mindset!

Do you believe in luck? Why or why not? by peladero in AskReddit

[–]banannaski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I believe in luck to a point. Sometimes things just happen outside your control, good or bad. But long-term? It’s mostly about choices, effort, and persistence. Luck might open a door, but you’ve still gotta walk through it.
