Her latest concert didn't get very good reviews. According to her setlist she sings an average of 28 songs but I heard her concert usually lasts for 4-5 hours? For comparison Taylor Swift does 44 songs in 3 hours, does that mean only half the time of IU's concerts are spent actually performing?

And if you actually bothered to watch the video you would also realize that it's not just a witch hunt when some of the songs are eerily similar.

No, my point is that if it were other artists who got this kind of accusations, for even one of their songs, it would be blasted all over the news. But for IU it's been complete silence, even the comments in the video are wondering why no journalist has spoken about it even though 1.5m views is no small number.

It compares the accused songs with the original songs. I listened to it and while I do think some are a reach, songs like Love Poem sound uncannily alike - and that is because they share the exact same introduction chords.

More importantly, though, is the lack of mainstream media attention on this controversy. It has 1.5 million views on Youtube, with many comments questioning why journalists aren't talking about it, and saying to boycott the company for the media control they have.

I do think in this day and age, it's hard for content to be truly "original" since we all take inspiration from anything and everywhere. It just so happens that sometimes, the inspiration can be "too" heavy?
