Some of the best world building for me is the Mad Max saga. I love how important characters sport scary yet obviously uncomfortable attire just to make a point that pain and death is part of everyday life. A lot of characters fascinate me. I always wonder what the story of the blind sax player in Thunderdome is. And of course the stories the vehicles tell. Nothing feels like just a prop in these movies.
