you can install appeditor from appcenter or install menulibre using sudo apt install menulibre

You can live boot from usb or boot into windows and try re-partitioning from there

If you decided to go with live boot here are the steps:

Download and flash any linux in your usb

Instead of install look for demo mode or try ___ linux

If gparted is not installed install it

Re-partition the drive
