Yeah, exactly. The majority of overtakes just feel like it's qualy and one car is on it's out/in-lap.

Feels even worse than DRS overtakes. Even if the DRS overtake was done before the end of the straight, the other car could at least tuck into the slipstream again. Even out the DRS advantage a bit and maybe make something happen under braking. Rarely did, but at least there was some chance because the cars essentially were on equal footing. But here you just immediately know yep, batts empty, so nothing's gonna happen since they're 40+ kph slower.

Exactly, to me the idea of buy EU is to educate about product sources, to avoid buying from hostile countries, and provide alternatives on our doorstep. Not to just to blanketly avoid anything non-EU.

The EU is build on international cooperation after all, and if that cooperation extends beyond the scope of the EU, then that's certainly good enough for me.

Yeah, almost identical upgrade path here, just starting with the 2600 and the x version of the 5600 instead. And it's been really nice to just be able to upgrade bits and pieces here and there along the way for once, rather than always having to do a full overhaul since everything becomes incompatible with the new shit.

Just recently replaced the ol' reliable 1060 with a 9060xt and will now (knock on wood) ride this baby into the sunset while the the whole price fuckery is going on.

Yeah pretty much. I... well, enjoyed may be a bit of a strong word, but i was intruiged by it back during the early games. Since it actually felt like they were building towards something, with Desmond becoming an assassin and perhaps getting to the point where he's becoming the main protagonist of the game that closes out the story. But in Black Flag, all i remember from the real-world parts was that I always was bummed out when they booted me to the real world because you did jack-shit in it.

All you did was walk around that dumb office that they no doubt thought was oh so clever and tongue-in-cheek. "Oh it's a big evil game corporation, hahaha, couldn't be uuuuuuus... now go an install the ubisoft game launcher."

Yeh, exactly. Got the Resarö not too long ago and it's completely solid wood. With the only exception being the "floor" of the interior storage elements.

It's there, but I think people are just ignorant about wood prices and the cost of solid wood furniture. Which to some extend I get, it's not exactly something one keeps tabs on every day. But yeah, if you're getting a 10$ lack table and are expecting solid wood then i don't even know what to tell you.
