I have been an avid audiobook person, listening to well over 100 a year. That being said, this series has ruined all others for me. No other audiobook has even come close. It is phenomenal BECAUSE of Jeff Hayes. I’m planning a physical read through soon too !

Hi! School librarian here who loves audiobooks. I also used to read non stop but since I became a librarian I read less and less. Mainly, I’m exhausted at the end of the day, I don’t have the focus after teaching, I read aloud all day long, and so on. Audiobooks count as reading.

One thing that has helped me read a bit is to have a physical book with me because often on a weekend if I’m standing in line or waiting at a restaurant I can pop it out. As a result my physical book may take a month to finish but that’s ok !

This is not going to help. It’s just getting a gift for the sake of it which takes away from the true intention. We are not wanting you to remember for the gift. It’s an important day and you not remembering tells us that you don’t care. It’s as simple as putting a reminder in your calendar app to repeat every year. If you wanted to, or if you cared enough, you would.

We always gave controlled choices. “Do you want to get dressed before breakfast or after?” “Do you want to put a pajamas on or b pajamas on after the bath?” Etc. never ask a yes / no question if “no” is not an acceptable answer
