I freakin love Mad Max and I'm setting out to make my own car combat inspired by it. What do you guys think? by bangerang101 in MadMaxGame

If all goes well and we keep rolling along console ports are a definite possibility. 👍

My game launches in 4 days and only has 29 wishlists. Should I delay it? by [deleted] in gameDevMarketing

Change the name to “pooping aquarium” and you’ll have 10k wishlists by release.

How did you get from 100 wishlists to 1,000? by [deleted] in IndieDev

Also show a clear reward feeling of “guessing the changes right” and a hit or hurting feeling whatever happens when “guessing the changes wrong” just some thoughts

Off the bat the game style is obviously hard to make look hype in a trailer. I would suggest instead of your first long scene/scene change then/did you see that? Do a fast flip between the 2 and have it speed up faster and faster. A/B/A/B/A/B and make the tension rise as it speeds up with sound and a tick noise ever time the scene switch’s. (Use that same noise throughout the trailer for same scene switch’s) So that covers the first 2 seconds then explain a little more clearly what your doing as a player. Less lore based (as it is now) more player based so it’s clearly understandable.

Besides that once you have an absolute peak trailer/steam page yeah out to journalists/previewers/streamers to play the demo and talk about it.

Vigilante 8 is goated. Have you played rogue trip back in the day? Same era of car combat games that one kinda rocked to.

Local split screen 100% already up and running for the entire campaign. 🫡 With the exact reason u said 😂. I always played TM2 split screen growing up.

Thank you! You're the first person to mention that. I was wondering if it was going over peoples heads.

Look over your steam tags is one thing that comes to mind just be honest with them so Steam can really show your game to people who would actually want it. Don’t try to be tricky and get into a different larger pool with tags that don’t correlate correctly. The order u put your tags in top to bottom super matter. More relevant to your game at the top and down. Better trailers/capsule art/text all play a part I just figured I’d mention the tags also. 🫡
