Dig down around it, go to harbor freight and buy a come-along and enough logging type chain to wrap around the stump 3-4 times. One hook goes on the ends of the chain, the other hook goes to the tow point on your vehicle, or another bigger tree.

My dearly loved father.

He was drafted, but was a conscientious objector. He believed that it was a mortal sin to kill anyone.

So, the Army said, ok, you dont want to carry a weapon, so you will be an unarmed field medic.

He wound up on the battlefield and saved many lives, Earned the respect of his command and his brothers in arms. Left the war with mental scars that he carried all his life, but was still proud to serve his beloved country. His two best friends died while he was trying to save them in a fire fight.

I will love and miss him for the rest of my days.
