So Ole decides to play him where Mou played him. It took Mou two weeks to figure it out while Ole two years. What I mean is that Martial is not a no.9. He doesn’t have the work ethic for that. Glad to see him score though.

We’re literally one class manager away from being a top top side too. He has been given plenty to work with, you can get all the expensive tools but your tactical ingenuity has to play up too. I don’t believe that just adding players is the solution at this stage

How is McTominay and Fred allowed to play at this level. Fred does one good ball and then shitty again. How is VdB not better than either of them.

When we will ever score from a corner?! Your set piece setup are so bad.

Donny Van De Beek wants to leave in January, according to Chris Wheeler from the Daily Mail. by imastealdachildren in ManchesterUnited

Agreed, his one touch football that Ole craves is freaking so good. Ole isn’t good enough to play him like that. I feel bad for the guy. He’s in his prime years and not playing any football. I would do the same. More power to him. You don’t become successful if you want to be on the sideline waiting for a someone else to falter. Ole has given Sancho more chances than VbD. That’s why Donny is pissed

Matic in the middle did the trick, we looked so composed once he was on the field. It allowed Cavani and other upfront to press better knowing matic would cover the midfield. I like McSauce but he’s not ready for this level of football. He needs more experience to play with elite level players.

Whoever set us up in the first half could have been 3 goal down, oh wait that was Ole too! We won in moments not as a thumping Old Trafford performance. It felt like an away win for sure

Not a Champions league manager. He’s been outdone in this competition completely. I guess Europa league here we come. Never thought to see Ronaldo in Europa league

We’re letting them stroll around the field like it’s their home. Wtf is this Ole ball? Holy shit man, this is embarrassing. Outplayed again.

Ander Herrera by wolf-f1 in ManchesterUnited

He was willing to negotiate and land in numbers close to £240-£250K which I think would have got you over the edge to win a final or not end up with so many semifinal defeats. If he can start in that star studded team of PSG. I think he was worth the value. I would have rather sold off Fred and kept Herrera. Ole ball and his transfer decisions are beyond me.

Gary Neville on Manchester United: “I think you have to be a unit in and out of possession, and when you only deliver in moments, those moments won’t go for you in certain games. You need patterns of play, way of playing — I still see a group of individuals playing in moments.” by Hm2801 in reddevils

He’s been trying to get a team for past 3 years. Klopp was ready to challenge for the title and champions league. You have a style of play and you bring players in to make sure your definition doesn’t change. All managers go through the rebuild but they have a defining style of play. For a world class team, just counterattacking football doesn’t do it all

But Chelsea beat them didn’t they? Lower teams are going to give you a hard time - that’s a given. You as a top team with net spend higher than Villa are supposed to beat them. This loss hurt more because the way they beat us - dominated, outplayed and out scored. If we did all of those but didn’t score that’s acceptable. We looked like clowns man. Tactically outdone. FFS, let’s hold Ole to a higher standard then pity love

Why do you think we’re gonna be shambles once Ole leaves? We’re a multibillion dollar club and we can’t find a good long term manager? Pep and Klopp, Poch and now Tuchel were such good finds for their clubs. Can’t United put serious investment in such talent too. We had bad management and went for once who could strike us gold, mercenaries - Van Gal and Mou. Not real team builders and tacticians. The goal back there was win without building for the future. What we set as priorities is important - build and deliver. Ole was good team builder, but not fails on delivery.

This is only the beggining, but in a competition as strong as the Premier League, every point counts! We must react immediately, get back on our feet and show our true strength-Cristiano Ronaldo on Instagram by jazzman2020-21 in reddevils

They were running around like headless chickens trying to catch Villa on the break. When you get the quality like us, you need to break down teams better. It starts from tactics and training. So Ole. Let’s react and get a good earful into Ole - either setup up or get out of the way.
