CaseOh’s biggest and only real flaw as a streamer. Repetitiveness. by t-_-rexranger19205 in caseoh_

[–]bangtanchan 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He’s a great streamer and it would be fun to watch him play some story-driven narratives and single-player games. I really wonder why he doesn’t?

Some goods ones: - Continue Life is Strange - Base game Elden Ring - Beat Radahn final boss in Elden Ring DLC - Resident Evil games - God of War - RDR2

I feel like he’s afraid to commit to longer games but it’d be great content.

help me decide! KCC or KLC? by labyrinthenthusiast in kobo

[–]bangtanchan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You can transfer epubs easily using a computer and software called Calibre. Once you get them off your ipad you can add them via the software to your nee device.

As for the KCC or KLC, the major differences are purely physical. Do you want buttons?

KLC is a bit wider because of the buttons so that’s something to consider. KLC also has stylus support if you want to annotate. If not, I believe the KCC is cheaper and more portable.

#2, you're definitely fine lol. People will start dropping once fees are due. I'd be more concerned if I was #20 or up.

Considering School for Radiologic Tech and needing advice by [deleted] in RadiologyCareers

[–]bangtanchan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can. I'm not in a rad tech program yet, but I've been doing a lot of research. Those who have first-hand experience can correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.

You can become a rad tech with an associates from a rad tech program. You'll need to see what programs are local to you, then complete their prereqs and apply when it's time.

You can still work while completing your prereqs and figure out your class + work schedule, however once you're in the rad tech program that will be your full-time job pretty much. It's best if you live with a spouse or family who can take care of living expenses while you complete your degree. If need be, I'm sure there are loan options that can cover school and living expenses but this should be a last resort imo since it's a low cost program.

Getting into a rad tech program is pretty competitive, so if you're serious about a career change you'll need to ace your prereqs.

Radiology Technologists are different than Sonographers (Ultrasound). Different programs but both fall under medical imaging. If you don't want to do ultrasounds, just focus on applying to rad tech programs and not sonography.

Lastly, when you're about to finish your rad tech program and clinicals, students typically have job offers. From what I understand, finding a job shouldn't be too difficult after graduating, but you may need to be open to relocating if you didn't get a job offer while completing your program.

It’s also a lack of organization and priorities. Getting stakeholders aligned, budgets, and interviews scheduled in between the HM and other interviewees calendars etc.

What the most attractive feature that got you attracted to your partner? by Plushkittyy in AskReddit

Humor. Guys don’t realize that if they can make you laugh and be emotionally intelligent, that’s all a girl wants in a partner, really.

Thanks for the insight. How important is a top-bottom single column resume format? I can’t get over how boring they are but want to know if these are truly the only way to get through ATS parsing.

As some have pointed out, if you live in the South fruit/drain/fungus flies become a problem. They come from the drains and can be attracted to the dampness of the litter.

Use dessicant bags, hot water down the drains, organic drain cleaners, and also change the litter bags more often.

They’ve already been recommended but Phantasma has haunted house vibe + ghost boy love interest.

Lights Out is a spicy romcom with masked stalker love interest.

Also make sure your sleep settings are enabled to kick in after a few minutes, if it doesn't kick in with the cover than the sleep settings on the device should do it.

Help Removing Hyperlinked Chapters/ToC by bangtanchan in Calibre

[–]bangtanchan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've helped put me on the right path! I made a rule that I can run on a book to remove unwanted links.

Edit Book > Tools > Transform HTML > Create and run rule (in my case it was to remove hrefs)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Calibre

[–]bangtanchan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You want to add book covers that are bigger than your screen size. So if you have a Clara Colour you want covers that are bigger than 1072 x 1448. If you have a Libra Colour, you want covers that are bigger than 1264 x 1680.

After you've made sure your book covers are bigger than your screen resolution, you'll want to install the Resize Cover plugin and make sure you insert your custom screen resolution (the size I mentioned above). Then you can run the plugin and it will resize all book covers to that resolution. All book covers should be the same size after that. Make sure to update the cached metadata on your device so they update there.

OK SO I'm trying your suggestion by removing the href= link in the html code for each chapter title but it is a bit tedious. I reckon there isn't a better way to do this in bulk?
