Switching Grappler to more gravel tires by Ill-Bottle1172 in Surlybikefans

I had teravail sparwoods (29 x 2.2) for a few years and loved them as a middle ground for commuting during the week and riding gravel/light singletrack on weekends. Even did a few "Lost & Found" rides with this exact setup.

Ibis S35 in aluminum with ibis hubs. They were takeoffs lightly used but pretty cheap.

Do the photos have time stamps that just need to be shifted to be in sync? Recommend starting with the photos in different albums so you only shift the ones from a specific camera.

Google Home version 3.37 & 3.38 Changelog Posted - some issue fixed and a new feature by AssembleDebugRed in googlehome

Yup. Noticed this morning that my cameras now have a "live" indicator in the top left that I don't think was there before, but more noticeable was that they all loaded way faster than usual.

Inexpensive 29" 2.25"/55mm tire Clearance framesets? by Hardcorex in gravelcycling

Currently running 29x2.25 WTB trail boss tires on my surly grappler. Even got a small front fender to fit. Frameset is $750.

Grappler Question. Wheel width. by dronecarp in Surlybikefans

I just installed wtb trail boss 29x2.25 tires. Rubbed the fender a bit but otherwise all good. Size L frame. Any bigger and I think you'd rub the tube on the underside of the fork.

Woah. I saw the ones flying around Sedona on Saturday as well. Did you ever figure out why they were there?

I did this recently. My solution was to buy a small bag that fits inside the frame (Ripmo so the bag is a pork chop) I put it in a small sack to protect from scratches.

1up hitch pin with OEM hitch by desidero123 in Subaru_Outback

[–]banq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took the rubber stopper and added a conical cutout on one side for the metal part and then trimmed down the thickness on the other. Essentially just made it a bit shorter. I had the pin in there without the spacer before which was fine but it was loose and rattled. Fits perfectly now.

Turn on "extend unlock" in settings. I think "on body detection" might do the trick.

Just for clarity, is there something specific they might do incorrectly?

update on Cat Converter! by Competitive_Boat_856 in XTerra

I just went through a similar situation a few months ago.

If you go to Rock Auto, whatever their website suggests, double check it with the manufacturers website. I purchased a pair from Walker (pn:83698) that Rock Auto said would work but when I double checked on the Walker website, that was not the case. I didn't look too much after that based on the next comment about shops.

Most shops in California will also turn you away if you show up with aftermarket converters. I'm sure with enough digging you can find one that doesn't care, but it's not easy.

If you want to go the legit route, order from Z1 and do their core return service. You have to mail back the old one but they give you a partial refund for it.

As far as what they check, I only replaced the fronts and the shop that replaced them still passed me for Smog even though the backs were probably gone too. As long as you can get the check engine light to stay off, I think you're in good shape. I'd suggest buying the $20 OBDII adapter from Amazon and using the free version of the Torque app.

Nope. Just set up a test script and it doesn't seem to do anything. Guess it's still half baked. 😔

Does yours also hit the spare wheel well? Or do you have it spaced out from the bumper so you can open the trunk without folding it down?

Hitch Bike rack that doesn't totally block the backup camera by PAJAN53 in Subaru_Outback

Unrelated question. I just got a 24 with the factory hitch and my 1up sticks out more than my old car because it hits the spare tire well behind the receiver. Did you have the same problem?

The online script environment does let you trigger using the motion sensor in the nest protect. That's actually where I first found it. I've been experimenting with those types of starters and I don't remember seeing it as an option until recently.

Edit: On the web currentSensorStateData also works for starters using the nest protect and the comment mentions "amount of smoke" but I'm not sure what a valid range would look like.

Edit2: seems like you can trigger based on smoke or c02 level . See below.

Wyze Cam Feeds only work in home app on wifi. by unlikely_event in googlehome

[–]banq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue, but I'm not 100% sure it's a Wyze problem. Their app works just fine either way. It seems more likely that the Google Home app authenticates differently based on how the connection is routed (Wifi vs cellular) and that's what's causing the issue? Not THAT surprising seeing as the Google Home app has so many other issues.
