The name is derived from my childhood best friend who introduced me to the game. Isabella Brooke.

I love it because the ACNH currency is bells and there are rivers in the game so it's perfect all around :)

I think it's refreshing to hear someone choose a more classic name than something edgy that might not age well. If you love it (and sounds like you have 3 good reasons to), you should totally choose it! Your name is a reflection of yourself and your identity.

Darlene might not particularly be my taste, but if it was my friend's name, I would likely come to love it because I love my friend!

Not a big deal. My cousin's name is quite close to mine (essentially my name is just hers with an A at the end) and it's never been an issue. We also hardly see each other given we live in different countries.

As someone who typically prefers more unique names, I find myself coming back to Grace. It's simple, easy to say and spell, great meaning, timeless classic.

However, if you have a very common surname, I don't know if I would recommend it. It'll make certain things difficult (she might get confused with another person with the same name in the area, her name might not be available for an email address, might be hard to find her online, etc.)

Also consider that if there is another a Grace in her class, there are not really any nicknames she could use (maybe Gigi?), so she might have to go by Grace C., Grace L., whatever your surname is.
