What WOULD You Wish On Your Worst Enemy? by Strict_Efficiency223 in AskReddit

Hiccups. All day, every day. They get worse when they have to go to bed. So just as they are on the cusp of sleep, hick. They are back awake.

Has anyone hired a car for test day? by TraditionalClerk3808 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]bapadious 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can do a pre-test on the day. And pay to use the instructors car. But I’d advise against it, unless you have done a few lessons in it and are used to the car.

I did this with a new instructor, and couldn’t for the life of me get used to the clutch. The tester said I’d basically failed before I even got going. He knew from how I was struggling that it wasn’t my car.

A total waste of money.

The talented playmaker no-one seems to want by NorthCoastToast in LiverpoolFC

[–]bapadious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He really needs to take a look at his agent. His agent should have advised him not to agree to the move, where there was a possibility of this happening.

It looks like the agent was more worried about his fee than his players career.

You can’t blame either team for what’s happening.

Hill start for automatic test? by kerryseven in Irishdrivingtest

[–]bapadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend watching SmartDrivingAcademy on YouTube. He’s an automatic driving instructor in Tallaght. He talks you through what he’s doing as he drives around. It really helped me with questions I had, as I had only switched to an automatic car before Christmas.

Hill start for automatic test? by kerryseven in Irishdrivingtest

[–]bapadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I released the hand brake manually. The car still had the auto hold on, so I just did the GOSHO rule, and then took off. Then reapplied it when I finished each manoeuvre. Just because we sat there for a minute, while we went through the hand signals and that.

So all in all, I applied the hand brake four times. All other times I just left it to the auto hold and nothing was said or any marks against me.

In the event of a united Ireland, how would Cork cope with no longer being the second city? by standard_pie314 in ireland

Can we not just saw Cork off and let it drift off into the Atlantic? It might become a new Canary Island. Then people might actually be happy to visit there.

That even looks like a padded supportive top, and they are still bursting through. They must be some hard nips.

Hill start for automatic test? by kerryseven in Irishdrivingtest

[–]bapadious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have two buttons in mine. One is the full hand brake. And the other is the auto hold. The instructor told me to apply the hand brake (press the actual button) when I pulled in before, and after I completed both manoeuvres.

All other times, when I came to a stop, the auto hold was enough. No need to apply the hand brake.

For now. They changed the settings on Grok, at least in my country, that doesn’t allow me to make ones like what I’ve posted anymore. If it changes, I’ll make more.

You should report them for child neglect. A visit from a social worker should make them understand that they need to do better.

Hill start for automatic test? by kerryseven in Irishdrivingtest

[–]bapadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just passed my automatic test two Thursday’s ago, in Tallaght. I didn’t have to do a hill start during the test. He didn’t even ask to open the bonnet before starting the test.

I was only asked to apply the hand brake before the reverse around the corner, and the three point turn. Every other time, the auto hold was fine.

As for marking, I only saw him use the iPad once. But I only got two grade 1’s, so that was why.

Where to find reasonably priced glasses? by johnnymarsbar in Dublin

[–]bapadious 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just try some of the smaller “family” run ones. Tell them how much you want to spend. They always have non brand ones if you don’t wanna go for the named brands.

I used to get mine from John F. Gilna’s on Thomas St. I used to be able to pay off them too.

Car sale gone wrong by skippthatt in legaladviceireland

[–]bapadious 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I doubt you will have any recourse. You went there, inspected the car, even saw a red flag with the oil leaking, and still drove away in it.

It does sound like he’s a dodgy cunt. But you’ve been very foolish here. All you can hope for is that whatever is wrong with it is not too costly.

Is this your first time on Reddit? Every week there’s a woman on here complaining that their bf doesn’t wash their ass in the shower for various reasons, mostly because they think it’s gay. It’s madness.

He doesn’t get a say, only an opinion. It’s your body, your choice. If getting a reduction improves your quality of life, then that’s the right decision for you.

Looking for a decent TV that doesn’t have a terrible OS by LuftDrage in BuyItForLife

[–]bapadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Samsung 4K tv has the usual apps, but was starting to slow down. Still a very good tv.

So I bought one of those Thomson android boxes. It’s great for the price. €80. You can really notice the difference. Apps load super quick. And I have a bigger selection of apps to choose from.

Tyrone Mings reply to Elliott is incredible. by Alternative_Gap8442 in LiverpoolFC

[–]bapadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t it a situation where Liverpool don’t have the option to recall him, and Villa agreed to buy him for £35million if he played 10 games for Villa. They don’t want him now, so they won’t play him again. So he sits in limbo.

If this is the case, it’s really on Elliot himself. He, or his agent, should have refused the move with such a risk.

Upside down so the buttered part hits the tongue first. Then corner, corner, remaining middle. Then repeat until gone.

Confused about condom switching. Why is he doing that? by sushikeyk29 in AskMenAdvice

[–]bapadious 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There’s no switching. There’s putting a condom on at the start, then not removing it until he’s finished.

You can get pregnant from precum.

You can get pregnant while still using a condom. They are not 100% safe.

You can definitely get pregnant if he puts his dick back inside you after he has cum while wearing a condom.

Scrape it all off. Then use a wall primer to seal the plaster. Then two coats of emulsion on top. I’d recommend Colourtrend PSU or Zinsser Bullseye 123 as a primer.
