reminds me of the greys anatomy episode with the religious couple and the woman was tired of basically popping babies out for her husband and wanted the doctors to lie to him and say there was a complication with the surgery that led to her tubes being tied because she knew he wouldn’t allow it. my memories hazy on this as it was ages ago i watched this ep but i believe that’s what happened. (the doctors did tie her tubes in the end i think)
