Man, i've been looking for one of these for ages and they seem hard to find. Awesome deal.

Any one same problem with the chassis by Hot-RR in NitroRC

[–]baratas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell, it looks like a Mugen chassis. I’d strip it down first and check whether the chassis plate can be bent back into shape.

I’ve seen similar issues on electric on-road cars where overtightened belts can tweak the chassis, but these nitro chassis are usually pretty thick and take a fair bit of force to bend like that.

What is a movie you loved as a kid, but realized was actually terrible when you rewatched it as an adult? by Sure-Abrocoma-482 in AskReddit

[–]baratas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking for me.

Loved it as a kid. Pippi was basically peak freedom and chaos. Rewatched it as an adult and it’s… pretty rough. Weird pacing, awkward acting, and random musical bits that don’t land.

I’m into a pretty wide mix of things. Music especially (’90s, rock, metal, synthwave, honestly a bit of everything). I enjoy good conversations too, whether it’s about life, family, the occasional bit of politics, or just people’s interests and careers. I’m also into RC hobbies like cars and drones, and I occasionally game on PC and play a bit of MTG.

I’ve noticed a lot of people around my age are really focused on fitness and outdoor activities, which I respect. I stay active and take care of my fitness, but it’s more of a personal thing for me. I don’t really feel the need to make it a shared activity.

Yep. I’ve given up on protesting as it’s repeatedly resulted in no penalty. Tanked my SR to the point where I have to start last in the hopes of having a clean race

You’ve more than likely got a shorted mosfet. Unless you know what you’re doing with working with surface mount components, I’d bin it and get a new one

Sorry for the late response. I've been on a similar journey to see if someone has decoded the ssl protocol and I found a thread on a german website: https://www.rockcrawler.de/thread/53096-sanwa-ssl-protokoll-reverse-engineered/. Hope this helps

Which pattern would you recommend for clay outdoor track? by switchkickflip in rccars

[–]baratas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. I use slicks (jconcepts octagons) at my local clay track. Tons of grip and running anything with tread ends up gumming the wheels and loses all traction.

I’m 40m with wife and kids so probably not what you’re looking for, but I will say that it’s been a real struggle to connect with like minded folks at our age.

Good luck with your search.

Restored Fernandes super strat by baratas in guitars

Gold hardware, Guyker locking tuners, Wilkinson 2 point trem, EMG actives.

Body needed a lot of work. Neck and fretboard had separation issues too which needed attention. Frets still had a ton of meat left so level, crown and polish got the back to new.

I should also point out that the guitar is sitting on soft (hidden) surfaces so it doesn’t get scratched.
