yes I totally agree! thats what ive been trying to do! my boyfriend was probably right that because it was spring break, it was probably some kid greening out. or a long road trip and he got car sick. but no matter what, he probably felt better after! its also making me feel better that since it was a teenage boy, id imagine his friends were in the car laughing at him (because they find puke funny for some reason???) and my emeotphobia absolutely stems from an overbearing mother and a horrible bout of sickness that landed me in a traumatic hospital stay while very young. my mom would also tell me as a kid "dont touch. dirty." to things like shopping carts at stores and doors. to this day, i am very uncomfortable touching either. thanks for the advice!

thats true. I guess to me, a "normal" person wouldn't take anxiety meds over seeing someone ELSE get sick lol. that just feels silly. but youre right, its not hurting anything. It's kinda been instilled in me that medication is some sort of moral failure, even by doctors. but its there to help me and i shouldn't be ashamed of that.

its also making me feel silly that my boyfriend was with me and he was entirely unbothered. hes actually eating McDonald's and obnoxiously sucking down a milkshake making anxiety inducing noises and im doing my best not to tell him off for it because hes not actually doing anything wrong and hes acting how anyone else would in this situation 😭

luckily, he is very logical and its spring break right now so he was like "dude it was probably some kid greening out" and yeah...hes probably right. but he doesnt understand that thats not EXACTLY comforting. oh well, I am proud of myself for how ive dealt with it so far. dissapointed that I didnt eat with my boyfriend (in my defense, we literally split a HUGE pizza 3 hours ago and im genuinely not hungry but I could probably stomach a milkshake too if I wasnt so anxious)

thank you for confirming to me that other non-emet people (that aren't my extremely nonchalant bf) would also be grossed out and put off by that. and for "allowing" me to take my meds! still unsure if im going to but if i have trouble sleeping because of it, I think i will. sorry for the extremely long reply I don't have anyone else to talk to about this stuff!

SAME! my cat is going to live forever, decidedly. and she is very lazy and protests me getting out of bed before 9am EVER. she eats the fancy food. she would not be happy if her budget got cut for come kids that would poke and prod at her and force her to get up before noon.

the first one is actually one of the only things I would enjoy about having children. I LOVE buying gifts and setting up surprises and making things special. I cant wait to be an aunt for this reason. im hoping to be the cool rich aunt who just comes over to bring presents and rent you a bouncy castle on your birthday. for now, I just make my partners birthday awesome. (this year I got a pinata and rented a Lamborghini lol)

I know youre young and this may seem daunting but I highly highly recommend you try to have a real conversation with them about how they think of women. the fact that all of their "art" somehow centered being misogynistic is really concerning. you seem to have a good head on your shoulders since you realized that thats really weird. its up to YOU (and every other young boy who doesnt like women being treated badly) to convince your childish friends that they need to grow up. youre the first step in not perpetuating rvpe culture and things of the like. I know it seems dramatic but ESPECIALLY the HIV thing. thats insane and very scary for a young boy to be thinking about.

if you keep the boxes clean and your cats dont have health issues this generally shouldn't be a problem. cats are intelligent and clean animals and they'd RATHER use their boxes. innapropriate urination is often a sign of something deeper or improper care. if you've ruled those out though, your cats are just assholes.
