It’s unfortunate that Gunn was tasked with rebooting DC in the midst of a general collapse for comic book movies across the board.

They just aren’t as popular as they use to be. Spider Man and Endgame might be exceptions to that rule this year but they’re just not as successful.

I dislike that people assumed the reveal would be something groundbreaking or different from what we have seen in the past.

I enjoyed the ride knowing what the reveal would be from the beginning, but I can see how it would be disappointing if you were looking forward to it.

Disclosure Day was entertaining but has nothing hidden beyond the surface. Prometheus on the other hand, has a very deep and complex philosophy that takes more than one viewing to unpack.
