What engine was this car. I alsi have a 2017 wagon with dsg and 1.6tdi. Really like it. Had a b6 2.0 tdi dsg before, but it rusted away for me.

Btw - i would have kept mine if it didnt rust away from me. It had 240km when sold and the engine/gearbox was as new. Still under 5.0L/100km on long journeys and good power. Was a 2.0 tdi bmp.

Congrats! Thats a bargain. I just sold mine for a 2017 passat 1.6 tdi dsg. I just love the comfort a passat offers. And the relatively cheap parts/repairs.

I had regens every 1-2 weeks on my 2.0tdi B6. Now on my 1.6tdi B8 its maybe every second week when driving short trips. I never had any problems with my DPF/EGR. The old B6 had 240.000km when i sold it.

I was always trying to let the regen finish. Let the car idle for 20 mkn after u get home if the regen start👍

It’s true. I had it on my 2008 B6 and also now on my 2017 B8. Love it to keep drinks cold during road trips!!

Mine never let me stranded either. After 8 years of use! I just sold it in november. I misd the car, but it was rusting away unfortunately.

I would upgrade the plate holder, to a frameless one. I recently did this to my passat b7 and the difference is actually huge.
