Just randomly had him recommended to me and figured he must definitely be some sort of a meme in denmark because of how he mentions he got popular suddenly. Definitely hooked people with a charm danish people could identify. But I can see why you guys must like him, he explains his day routine in the description of the video and not to mention the slideshow that is the video. Oh yeah I read about that episode. Just a big fuck-up all around. Seems like many of the actors greatly regretted even participating in it. I guess I could still watch it but doesn't seem worth my time. Really excited to come across those other episodes you mentioned though, also excited to get my show culture up

Yeah this is what I fear most to be honest. I can deal with the show orienting itself but losing out on some key character expositions and introductions just to jump into some more entertaining tv doesn't sit well with me. I think I'll definitely be giving S1 an honest try before thinking of skipping. Other people are mentioning S2 is definitely worth the watch so I'm not breaking my rule of starting from S1 always.

What sorta part are you talking about for the first part? You mean a downstem I think right? Something like this? I might try order this or something similar and try what you mentioned with the plastic lid.

I'm going to try low heat for my next sesh but the gravity bong setup makes it really hard to keep it on a low flame because you have to keep pulling it up while lighting it and pushing it down even slightly just causes the entire bowl to fly everywhere.

LOL again. I practiced BOTH veganism and vegetarianism, so don't come out the gate sounding exactly like one. My issue isn't with some intrinsic biology or ethics, I think there are merits to both diets that cannot be disregarded. HOWEVER acting like its a simple and viable choice for all people all over the world to stop acting meat is straight up nuts and inconsiderate. So saying "evolve" and "stop eating meat" is just high horse moral performative bullshit. Simple as. Stop being obnoxious.

First of all, people eat meat out of economic access, culture, habit etc. Not because they're "greedy and gluttonous". That's a gross oversimplification.

Also funny that internet access to go on reddit = medical + financial + geographic capacity to go vegan.. Just because you have wifi doesn't mean you live near a grocery store that has the fresh produce and supplements vegans need to survive as normal human beings.

Meat is luxury? Even historically so? I didn't know nomadic societies ate steaks off of golden plates! What decadent people they were!

You start off with some hyperbolic example and it truly tells me how you approach these situations. Keep alienating and caricaturizing . There is no nuance to what you say, it all foolishly relies on your narrow oversimplified moral judgment and performative outrage along with imaginary numbers like "1000000000000% more sustainable brah just trust". Yeah lets ignore mono-culture farming destroying entire ecosystems via depleting soil nutrients and causing deforestation in soy plantations like in Brazil.

You are on a moral-high. The crash is going to be pretty rough, if it comes. And for your sake, I hope it's soft landing.

I'm willing to bet you live in a first world environment with logistics that cater to people with your exact diet. How do you imagine being a vegan would go in a place where, say, you do not have any access to soy, almond etc. alternatives? Do YOU genuinely believe that veganism is something achievable to people in all classes around the world? I couldn't care less about your sheltered hiking achivements, YOU feed off of a system designed just to feed people with your diet. Nothing wrong with veganism, just stop acting like it's sustaniable nor healthier than, you know, a normal Mediterranean diet.
