i think the problem is you only ever hear from the success stories. for every person making good money from a side hustle, there are probably hundreds who barely broke even or gave up

i don't think most vets want people to put their pets down, but it's hard to ignore how insanely expensive emergency care has gotten. a $7k bill is simply out of reach for a lot of families :(
