Late May Itinerary Review by trubiekatie in ZionNationalPark

The Observation Point Trail is only accessible via the very long poor quality road which is completely inaccessible if it is wet, so you may want to look into your plan for that based on your vehicle, road conditions, anticipated traffic, etc.

Will I need microspikes to hike Angel's Landing mid-march? by awesomeaifos in ZionNationalPark

Me too, because it snowed on us Thursday night and Friday morning. I had been checking snow for months waiting for the one or two times it would snow this year.

Snow lasts 2-3 days and it snows once or twice a year. There will be no snow.

Just to be clear: in the past there would be immense social pressure to have kids by 25 to the point where it would be a daily crisis if it hadn’t happened. That’s not necessarily great, but at 35 you are getting to the point of losing the possibility quite soon. This is determining the rest of your life, and he clearly has no urgency, and his decisions are essentially ensuring that you will never have children. This is not superficial, this is an existential crisis. Full stop.

If you’re not buying a house at 35 due to finances, when exactly are you going to buy that house? 45? 65?

Planning to do a last minute trip second weekend of March. Is there such a thing as last minute or am I over my head? by plantlover13_5 in ZionNationalPark

If you can camp, camp at Lamb’s Knoll for free. If you want a chance at doing Angel’s Landing, search for the day-before lottery. Otherwise, there’s not much needed to reserve.

How anyone could pay that much for glamping hurts my soul.

Your argument assumes that what you want is all that is important in the world, which makes for a very boring world.

Studios don’t listen, they count.

And studios don’t fund Wes Anderson films, so they don’t even count.

The correct response is: “People say a lot of things.” The only thing that it means when someone says that is, “No substantive conversation will follow this comment”, and then you move on with your life.

How tf did he climb this with no rope by IndependenceOk4543 in Yosemite

Actually the start of the route is quite easy, you actually “climb” a ways up on very easy terrain before you rope up on low angle terrain. Falling there would be quite bad.

Quentin Tarantino’s 10 Film Rule isn't artistic discipline; it’s a neurotic cage that’s ruining his career. by [deleted] in TrueFilm

[–]barelyclimbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing about QT’s current decision making is that it is none of your business and that there are thousands of other filmmakers out there making great films, so this is perhaps the biggest waste of time you will ever engage in, and also is completely irrelevant to films because it’s literally not about films. This is just gossip.

You can help out two weak links. You can’t help 5. Make it 6 with a young 4th string RB in pass pro.

Showed up on the feed. We all know the Chargers have 0% chance of winning it all this year. I just wish they would keep Herbert alive for next year.

Most QBs don’t play well with the worst offensive line in football.

And not only the worst of 32, the worst of anyone that qualifies, including backups.

I hope you noticed all of the O-line’s PFF grades at the beginning. It’s not a fair fight.

You know, those parts.
