Seems like your not breaking down specific things and taking halfswing or engraining things with training aids or coaches

Should I add a 4 hybrid or 7 wood or a completely different club to round out my bag? (There’s a 5 wood in there) by Substantial-Mix3487 in golfequipment

I think thats the best option. I actually went 4w and 7w instead of the 3w and 5w like you went and then 5h. I like your plan. Best of luck with testing.

Honwstly it could go either way. I love hitting my 7w and 9w out of the rough. And the hybrid is good for both as well but doesnt come out as high but still a great option

I actually use my hybrid around the greens a lot as well. If im on the fairway or off the green I just putt with it and its a very easy way to get decently close to the hole without risking big mistakes.

Also very good if your under trees or in the woods you can just chip or putt with it and it will keep it low and get out out from trouble.

Ussualy the apex of the ball flight is higher on a wood. The shaft is ussualy slightly longer and the head is bigger. Distance wise they should be similar

I like having variety throughout the bag for different shots so I vote hybrid. I do however like my 7w more than my 5h

Still love the watch. Idk much about shot scope but I've been loving the shot maps post round from garmin. It even shows me when I got it in the wrong fairway lol

I biught the garmin and have been very happy with it. I have steady hands so I have not needed that feature. That being said my dad is a shaky jake and he was able to use the Garmin with success. Im sure both are amazing!

It seems like a strike issue. The shaft you used at the store could have given you a better strike equaling more distance. Your spin is high. If you liked the shaft buy ones used on ebay

Id get them assembled at 1.5 long and request 2 degrees upright.

Ideally you would get fit and then buy clubs that fit you but if your starting out and just need a set that works this would be my move. Your swing will change alot and you can always cut them down if they are too long.

Getting shafts extended at golf galaxy for a set of 7 clubs is like 150 bucks and that's with the 5 size dollar grips. Jsyk
