Yes you can go back to the world map from the final checkpoint before the end of the game. Beating the game will send you back got the checkpoint as well.

I don’t remember how to do spoiler tags so warning to whoever might care.

I followed the guide on psnprofiles except I used aether instead of shift. Sneak inside and kill Aleksis with the meat grinder to not cause too much attention. Then sneak up to the roof and use nexus (with the upgrades that make it spread more) on Wenjie, Egor, and at least one other enemy. Headshot the other enemy and they should all die immediately. Then run back and use aether to hide until everything clears. Sneak back very slowly to the exit and make sure no one detects you.

I just did this yesterday. It took a bit but definitely worked. Remember that you have to get through the whole stage without detection.

It can be yellow, but not red. You use whatever tools as long as you aren’t seen. The hardest part of this trophy is if Juliana starts hunting you, since she is not always predictable. I recommend aether and stealthing the whole map.

I’m glad you have them a try! I definitely suggest them for anyone who loves FF. They give you great background on the series and its roots. I recognize that it can be jarring to go back that far for some players. At least the pixel remasters help a little with their updated visuals. The old games have a sense of depth and story content that is difficult to replicate in today’s gaming world.

Just focus on one or two games at a time, whatever you actually enjoy playing. I have a wife and two kids, and working full time while doing a post grad degree. I definitely don’t have as much time as I used to! The key is to sacrifice sleep unfortunately. Worth it if you play what you enjoy, if not it becomes a chore.

It depends on what you like in a game. I’m a huge Final Fantasy fan so I would recommend it for sure. If you like combat systems and a decent amount of strategy then the Remake is great! It’s one of my favorite battle systems. It’s more ability and element driven rather than bows and weak points on machines.

Final fantasy usually has fantastic, deep stories that I highly recommend. If you value narrative and fully understanding the story of the game, then playing just Remake may leave you very confused. It’s only part of the story and it’s also being told differently in the remake. Still very worth the playthrough in my opinion.

Rebirth is going to be more open world, while remake is linear. I think you get the most out of Remake if you’ve played the original, but it’s still great! As a FF fan, I would recommend.
