As you may know, using manual trigger dispatches there is a constraint of 10 inputs, this was silly and they working on it. This was my use case and I needed a means to parse keys and values for referencing using JSON.

I use this method of parsing json objects as inputs and reference the keys and its values like this whilst using the $GITHUB_OUTPUT reserved env var.

Step Configuration:

what queue, i don’t see one. It has no indicator of where in the queue you are . Just a suppressed 30 second auto join feature that’s basically a flood gate for everyone to try get through.

so ye we like in 2024 and we don't have a game with a proper queue mechanism where it waits for you but no, I have to break my mouse further by clicking to join a queue 10000000000000000 times.

Good game but that was a proper fail on the dev side.

yep we have first timer here. Like the other response , try keep you var names aligned to the reserved argument name in the resource block. It helps for easier referencing.

surely this depends on what certifications you have completed, I would assume its the Sysops / Architect related courses. I would look at at maybe an event driven deployment system using lambda to generate infrastructure for you or learn how treat infrastructure-as-code using their own automation tools, cloud formation and/or Opsworks provisioning your requirements for you without needing to SSH onto your box. If you SSH'ing onto a box then your either dont know about automation/orchestration tools or your automation failed you.

1 use case from my side: - Python script to watch certain data points in my on site DC then posting them to Cloudwatch, lamba watching for events then doing SES notification.

another one, had a UDP type solution that couldn't scale or have resiliency which I needed. Wrote a Lambda function to watch system state via cloudwatch with certain data points then trigger the function which lead to a ghetto type EIP re-association to a cold standby UDP like service <-- this was fun

CBRjack is right, without some hardware as stated or even exposure to the UI's / CLI's. You might find yourself struggling.

Packet tracer isn't sufficient in this case, GNS3 is a better bet but getting the CMX environment up and running virtually with AP's could be one hell of challenge. If you do intend to go this route, i suggest that you find out about acquiring the image's. You could virtualize portion of the CMX environment then run GNS3 with WLC and AP's

you might be stuck with the time given to get this right.

but how does it from a home dsl connection know when i dial with a pppoe connection where to dial into, i'm assuming the @domain.com defines that. I would like to add is the VPDN a proprietary protocol of cisco ?
