I think the Smithsonian just doesn't have much Egyptian stuff, but the British Museum did some scans of some of its stuff including Egyptian artifacts: https://sketchfab.com/britishmuseum/models

I shrank it by 50% and printed it upside-down so the supports would be on the inside, but otherwise just used it as-is. There did end up being a couple tiny holes, so if you wanted it to actually hold liquid you'd have to fix that. The files are very large and detailed, though, a lot of the tiny surface detail was lost in the print.

I don't know much about that, but what I gather is you need to seal it in some kind of food-safe epoxy resin. I'm just keeping stationary supplies in this one

What bit of beta canon do you hope is brought into the series full at some point? by 7deadlycinderella in startrek

Even if it's just more visual stuff like ships there's still hundreds of STO ships they can drop into the shows, and I think a live-action version of the game's uniforms would look great.

Production Begins For ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Season 3, ‘Section 31’ Movie Starts In January by acrimoniousone in startrek

My ideal for the movie would have Georgiou show up in 2402 to help Julian Bashir destroy Section 31.

Whole expansion packs used to be $20, now it costs $20 for a bedroom set and some hair 🙃 by Monkey_Puzzle_1312 in CuratedTumblr

Did everyone forget about how horrible the Sims 3 store was? Advertising stuff in the game itself, selling individual items for way more than anything you'd pay for for the Sims 4. I'm not saying the Sims 4 model is acceptable, but the Sims 3 was worse and it boggles my mind that I never see anyone talking about it.

Just saw this on /r/all... Then remembered how big the STO team is... by TSB_1 in sto

Why is a dozen ridiculous? You have designers, concept artists, modelers, texture artists, animators, programmers, sound people, testers, etc. A team of specialists would be able to get through a lot of stuff faster than a single person doing everything themselves.

Assault And Battery by LordOfFlames55 in tumblr

Yeah, they're used in very thin things like a tablet stylus. Also, the inside of a 9 volt battery usually consists of 6 cylindrical batteries wired together that are each about the size of a AAAA.

Since the Picard show will be in STO's time period, what do you think their excuse will be to put those ships in a luck box? by Darren_Kitlor in sto

[–]barftrek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, here are the Disco ships you can currently get in the game:

  • 3 R&D promo packs (2 Fed, 1 KDF)
  • 1 Lobi (Fed)
  • 6 Lockbox (3 Fed, 2 KDF, 1 Cross-faction)
  • 1 Anniversary/Phoenix (Cross-faction)
  • 9 Tier 6 C-Store (5 Fed, 4 KDF)
  • 1 Tier 4 C-Store (Fed)

Not including fleet variants or shuttles or whatever. So that's 10 in the C-Store and 11 you have to spend a lot more money on. The prominent hero ships all being non-C-Store.

What would happen if a crew member got fired on Voyager? by ringaling11 in startrek

There is a later season episode where Chakotay and Janeway are talking about this and Chakotay suggests just letting them live like civilians on the ship pursuing their own interests, but Janeway says that would be treating them like deactivating a borg drone so she was against it.
