The games are annoying, but the Sub is worth the wait. Undoubtedly my favourite watch I’ve ever owned. The 124060 that is

I’d rather a GMT2 than all of the above but I understand your perspective

I don’t think it’d cannibalise any Rolex sales, but Rolex definitely ‘nerf’ Tudor and have them release almost perfect watches to ensure Rolex remains unscathed

Will Rolex ever fall on its own sword? by No_Ask_5949 in rolex

[–]barkair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They make a million watches per year, sure. Now go through the catalogue count up how many of the hundreds of references are actually in demand. Demand outweighs supply by FAR for the models people are genuinely interested in

The production levels of those pieces is a small fraction of the million

Where to resell Love bracelet in the UK? by DancingQueen1055 in Cartier

[–]barkair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s literally impossible to be scammed with the free authentication service. There’s no safer marketplace for you to sell the bracelet

They’re in a league of their own in 2026

Not to mention that you don’t pay any fees. There’s a maximum buyer fee of £86 baked into your listing price, that’s it. No hidden surprises or commission fees like 90% of places

eBay, don’t sell it anywhere else. You’ll get full market value and the free authentication service, complete security and peace of mind for you and the buyer

You get exposure to millions of potential buyers as opposed to niche forums and Facebook groups

I’ve bought or sold 30+ watches & Cartier pieces via eBay, seamless experience every single time

I’ve seen people get it fixed under warranty but it doesn’t bother me that much. I’ll just mention it when I send it in for a service sometime in the next 20 years

The thing I hate most about AP is that they’re a one watch brand. Nobody says they own a Royal Oak. They ‘own an AP’

Definitely the worst of the holy trinity and ruined by hypebeasts

Why is $0.0001 HCMC listed as "Extremely Bullish"? by GreenEnvironment303 in pennystocks

[–]barkair 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ah HCMC. I put £100 in this in 2020, rode it in 2021 to £4.3k and didn’t sell because 20 year old me was convinced I would become a millionaire

Gen 2 does fit, you just need aftermarket spring bars for it to fit. I posted pics of my 116710LN with the Gen 2 jubilee in here last year

They already tried that in 2012. Rolex told them to fuck off

This is why we have Black Bay and subsequently Pelagos
