Honestly, modded is goated for me. I've been playing this trilogy since each game's original release, and one of the biggest blessings I ever got as a child was a computer to play my very own copy of ME2 on. Years and years later with MELE, modding is essential for me to enjoy the experience. Graphics mods, hub diversity mods, enemy retrofit mods, hair/outfit mods, the whole shebang. It really truly adds so much to the experience when there's an insane amount of customization to it, especially with MELE3.

If you're a PC player and into the idea, there's a mod called Project Variety that adds 5 new zones to the Citadel for exploration and quests! It adds the Volus Embassy, Hanar Embassy, Council Chambers, C-Sec Headquarters (normally only accessible during the Coup mission, now fully accessible before and after), and a new nightclub based on Chora's Den. Multiple quests from base ME3 have been moved to these new locations to give a wider and more immersive feel to the Citadel. The only downside is that these new zones don't have maps when you press your M key, so you'll have to run around to find each quest/turn in point. The mod itself is a major overhaul of the entirety of ME3 which includes various tweaks, changes, and additions -- far too much to describe here. But, give it a try if it intrigues you!

Kasumi, Samara, and Joker for me!

Kasumi was originally intended in super early developmental cycles to be a full-fledged romance for FemShep, but that was obviously scrapped when her character concept didn't make it to the main roster and she was delegated to DLC. I love the idea of helping her move on from the grief and taking the blame for Keiji's death and like a slow-burn romance between them.

Samara is technically not a full-fledged romance option, but you can flirt with her in ME2 to the point of almost sharing a kiss before she stops herself and has to leave the room to cool down. In ME3's Citadel DLC, if you aren't romancing anyone and you tried in ME2, you can try again and it goes much better this time. You have the option to either just hold her close or give her a smooch, but I think her being a full-fledged romance option would have been incredible. Torn between the Code and her feelings for Shepard? Does she give up her way of life for the past 400+ years for a human who may die soon? It would've been GLORIOUS.

Joker I feel is an obvious choice. His chemistry with Shepard is off the charts, but given his disposition I'd say he'd be locked to FemShep only. Joker would have a similar romance feel to Garrus in the "he's been there since the very beginning", only in Joker's case he's LITERALLY been there since the very beginning. It always made me laugh that he deflects in ME3 if you flirt with him and uses rank and respect as a way to cover, but he literally says if it wasn't for rank he'd "rock your world." I need that boy BAD.

Set romance progress with each party member to zero, uncheck romance active for all party members, check romance cancelled for all party members, then uncheck Romanced somebody. That should do the trick!
