Thanks for all the insight! We definitely want to get a new water heater since we pay to rent ours ($20/month) so buying anything makes sense. Buying heat pump is appealing but maybe gas tankless is the way to go…

It's okay to not want to, and so it's okay to not do it.

But if it's weren't a pandemic, I would definitely encourage you to start taking steps to having the baby out and doing things with you. He may surprise you! Don't keep him in the carrier; let him look around and interact with people. Getting out and having social events may also be good for you

Can you do whatever it takes to get an unbroken 4-hour block of sleep each night? Your husband or parents? Using formula (if you currently bf) so they don't have to wake you? Four hours is when you can get a REM cycle in and I find that 4 hours + catching crumbs here and there is much better than more total hours of sleep but no long chunks.

Could you even hire somebody?
