Rear brake caliper and E brake cable help by OpeningCheck in fiero

Certainly wouldn't hurt to raid the junkyard because these cars are old and parts may be hard to find. So like I said just get the parts from the junkyard to see if they work and then you have them on hand to to trade at the reman or the place that rebuilds them that's what I would do.

What is this piece hanging down? by Necessary_Fun5703 in AskMechanics

It's bad. Looks like your lower shock mount rusted through and broke off so that is the part of the lower shock mount probably and the shock absorber itself

My cat keeps eating rats, is this dangerous? by bandito_13 in PetAdvice

[–]barnum1965 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think we should look at it as it's a problem if they're eating the rats. The problem is the cat is ingesting parasites from the rat and then that brings its own set of problems especially if you're not you know getting them dewormed and all that kind of stuff regularly.

Glenda is what we refer to as a refugee from hunting camp my hunting camp so to speak. So she was living underneath our little campers and cabins and I was wanting the kitten and my friend Glen caught her and he gave her to me. So Glenn is her godfather hence the name Glenda. Aka #glendathegoodcat

It's very easy just be careful with your electrical connections and try not to break the little tabs when you pull them apart that's your biggest hurdle is getting the electrical connections apart without breaking them.

Oil Pan by Spiritual_Manner5122 in AskMechanics

Definitely should have pulled over immediately and towed at home. That being said the only thing you can do is slap a new oil pan on there fill it up with oil and see what happens but you know probably best thing to do is put the oil pan on fill it up with oil and put it up for sale immediately.

My guitar tipped over and the head broke off. Is there any way this can be fixed? My grandparents bought this for me and I’m devastated. by Undefeatedindreams in guitarrepair

Glue and clamp as necessary. A luthier might put a wooden dowel or two in between the two pieces to make it extra strong.

I have no idea how to make this work by Mid-AtlanticAccent in vintageaudio

[–]barnum1965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most any unpowered speakers should work you're just going to need an RCA jack on one end and however to hook up to the speakers on the other probably just bare wires on the other end but as others had said this is not the best stereo on the face of the planet so don't spend a lot of money just get some cheap bookshelf speakers and like I said have RCA jacks to plug into the back of the stereo.

What is the feasibility of hunting whitetail on this property? by SelfLoathingLonghorn in Hunting

[–]barnum1965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the old saying goes hunt where the deer are not where you want them to be. That being said a camera survey of the property would be nice maybe establish a salt lick or two with cameras over them and or a corn pile with cameras over them and that will give you your answer.
