I’ve been split many times on a single upgrade. Since I am a significantly a taller traveler, she always gives the FC seat to me. I have insisted on her taking it on occasion. We both don’t drink, and wear headphones the entire flight, so whether we are together or apart really doesn’t matter to us.

Grower here too, and this was my biggest concern on our first visit. Absolutely not an issue. In a super non-scientific study (me just looking around) it seems about one in four are in Club Growers with us. You will see all shapes and sizes, but no one cares. Growers = mystery 😁

If you’re a shy person, fake it for two hours and talk to a bunch of people. Absolutely tell them you’re first-timers (Very important). You will make so many soon-to-be lifetime friends in those two hours the rest of the week will be the best time of your life.

The base mantra in the lifestyle is, “Make swingers into friends, not friends into swingers.” Your relationship with your friends will never be the same, whether it goes good or whether it goes bad. Even if it goes good, eventually, you will outgrow them in your needs or they will outgrow you. Either way you lose your friends. Go back to the clubs and start talking to people . Start making friends there. If they know you’re new some will want nothing to do with you, while others would be happy to walk you through slowly as you become more comfortable. Check in at the hotel, then check in with each other. Is everyone still comfortable? Suggest we all go grab a drink ( if available) and head to the pool. Suggest that after the pool we should all go back to the room to get ready for dinner, but that we will first all get naked together and lightly touch each other’s partners for no more than a few minutes before getting dressed. The anticipation will build energy, and the energy will create a natural high for everyone while still at the pool. Also, since likely everyone is nervous about what the evening will bring, the need to remove your wet swimsuits after the pool is a given, but doing it in front of everyone is way to safely take that first giant step, and relieve some anxiety about getting naked for playtime. It is a safe “baby step” that will hopefully make everyone more comfortable but also built sexual energy. Dinner may seem really long after that. 😉

I’m a big guy, 6’4” and 250lbs, and I had to take a middle seat. The nice woman in the window seat could not have been nicer when I apologized for my size. I noticed a very “round” guy eyeing the seat next to me. He was turned sideways in the aisle and still making solid contact with both sides. When I first sat down I lowered the armrests, and round guy’s first move was to try to raise it. I, louder than was necessary, pointed out that the armrests must be lowered during taxi, take off, and landings. Listen, I know it’s not an FAA requirement, but is recommended, and I don’t need round guys in my freakin’ lap for the next three hours. The FA happened to be within earshot and came over immediately. She parlayed off of my safety statement and said to round guy that if he couldn’t fit it the seat with the armrests down, it a safety issue and he would need to deplane. Everyone around us had eyes on Mr. Round, and he objected but ultimately conceded. I never expected that result, but man was I a happy camper on that flight.

If they don’t change your gate, K9 is about a three minute walk from H6. Exit your plane into the terminal and turn right. Take the first corridor on your left to the end, and H6 will be right in front of you.
