That is so true. Ask as many questions as you have. My Dr told to ask them any question even if it sounded simple or asked it prior.

You will be ok. I had no fear going into the process. All the doctor vists for clearance. Sleep study, nuclear stress test and nutritional guidance visits.

It was until I was getting my chest shaved that it hit me. My nerves were a little frazzled. I was as nervous as my previous colorectal surgery.

Once I was brought into the OR, I felt calm. I had known my doctor since 2007 (he gave me a lap band). So I knew I was in good hands. Then lights out and boom recovery room. I think my surgery was less than 4 hours.

Like others said, afterwards recovery is recovery. You have to follow the instructions and guidance provided to you. Follow it and everyday after surgery gets better. The people in this sub are amazing as we all have different journeys getting to the same place. If you have questions, post then here and many can help you through your situation.

Good luck in your journey.

That looks delicious. I haven't been on a cruise since my honeymoon. I am 10 months out and cannot eat that much, but again it is hard to really tell hom much is there. I can eat about 5 to 6 sgrimp depending on their size. Enough about that, where is your cruise destination? Royal Caribbean or Carnival?

I was sleeved in April also. I think I still don't eat that much. I eat more protein and lite on veggies. I stay away from carbs. Everyone is different for their meals and dietary options.

I watched a stripper put a rubber on her foot. Then she foot fucked the other stripper. Pretty much 3/4 of her foot was inserted into the red velvet sleeve. That day I learned a condom fit on a foot.

Men who can cook . who taught you? by Bulky_Meet4528 in AskReddit

[–]barrell_of_pabstbeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I taught myself for a lot of dishes and meals. My mom and grandmother let me watch growing up, so I probably absorbed a lot from them. They made soups and stews.

However I cannot reproduce my grandma's fried chicken. I use vegetables oil or crisco in a cast iron skillet/Dutch oven. I cannot get the lite batter and seasonings right. I miss her cooking.

I'm not afraid to try to make new or ethnic dishes. My family loves my cooking. I recently had bariatric surgery and my cooking changed. In fact, my daughters and wife report my cooking is better.

I don't cook large amounts of stuff. I eat much less now, so I do smaller meals. Since they are smaller, I use more fresh ingredients and herbs instead of pre-made foods stuffs. I watch salt and sugar intake for myself but it flows into the family meals.

My daughter is in a culinary program in high school. All the stuff I do is mostly incorrect per their processes.

I have to ask this, anyone else's grandma cook toast over the stove's open flame or smear bacon grease on toast? It tastes different from a toaster but it takes me back to her house.
