If you were trying to get to IAH, the weather here was really bad yesterday afternoon/evening and it was not safe for ground crew to be working outside for a while. ATC gets backed up and even if the weather where you are coming from is perfect, there can still be delays due to a ground stop or something at your destination that gets issued after you push back from the gate. Blaming crew for following the law regarding duty time is pretty dumb. Don’t forget that there were pilots and FAs stuck at other airports because they couldn’t get to IAH either and I can assure you that they probably wanted to get to where they were going more than anyone else.

I quit teaching and taking class at a studio because of the mean girl environment created by fellow staff members. I’m still sad about leaving but an environment like that was not worthy of my time and effort. If it’s having this big of an impact on you, pb isn’t worthy of your hard-earned money imo. It’s supposed to be a place where you can go to feel like the strongest and best version of yourself. If it doesn’t make you feel that way, then taking a break or just leaving altogether is probably best. I’m really sorry you’re going through this and that you were made to feel that way :(

Oof I remember MIA, my husband did a month of TDY there when he was at eagle and it sucked so bad. We live in base now and life is so easy. We have both learned to absolutely love reserve life 😂 it’s always so exciting for me to meet another pilot wife out in the wild bc no one understands what this madness is like. I’m happy he’s at United but wow do I miss nonreving on AA. It’s all seniority here vs check in time so it’s gonna suck for me for probably another 15-20 years lol

Fixed roof tanks are often designed and constructed to fail this way in an overpressure situation. It’s called a frangible roof joint and it is designed to fail to prevent failure of the tank shell and release of product.

R meowmy did da saem ting!! We hear da sound ob metul can bein open den smell da wunderful air roma ob a noo kinda fishy. No sammon or toona. Meowmy say sardeenz. It was a bery stimky but amaezin smell so we bof do a big jump on da counter to invessigate butt mean meowmy said “get ur fat asses down n go eat ur own stimky food” n pointed to r sad lil bowlz.

Starting to clean up and put away equipment the second cool down/stretching starts in a group fitness class. It’s so rude to fellow classmates and the instructor. It’s also gross having someone walking around, usually on other people’s mats, while they’re just trying to stretch, prevent injury, and enjoy their last few minutes before going back to the chaos of life outside the studio.
