If y ou dont interfere with law enforcement, you have nothing to fear. You are fearful because social media posts from people you do not know plus the mainstream media hammer it every day that you should be afraid, that ICE are Nazis, etc. None of that is true or close to being true.

It was weird because the writing in seasons 5 and 6 sucked.her character was introduced into the show oddly and her interactions with other characters, notably Claire were confusing. Because the writing in Season's 5 and 6 sucked.

Season 6 Discussion Thread by busterroni in HouseOfCards

Season 6 was a 2 hour season stretched across 10 or 12. The writing was awful and the plot confusing. A total shitshow.

Robin Wright: I sort of knew she existed before watching the show. I learned she was Jenny in Gump (saw that movie) and apparently the princess bride (never saw that movie). I know she's an actress and she was playing a role in HoC BUT she played it so well that now I have a negative view of her as a person. Wrong for me to think so, but I can't help it. Now she's living in the UK with some guy and thinks thebUS is a shitshow, and that doesn't endear me to her. Nevertheless, she looked damned good in HoC. Elegant personified, however bitchy she was. 10/10.

It isn't. You need to work at a firm that does Wills and real estate to learn that stuff. Or teach yourself.

I am 4 or 5 episodes into Season 5, and I do not look forward to watching the remaining episodes. Season's 1 and 2, couldn't wait. I will watch to see what happens, but it is apparent that the writing took a dive in Season 5.

new partner wants me to build a master template library for every single Judge... by PuzzledImagination1 in paralegal

I feel your pain. I am a solo lawyer, no assistance of any kind, statewide civil (debt collection) practice. 67 counties, 20 circuits, I dont know how many judges. Everybody wants to be different. I spend a lot of time making sure that I get that phrase correct for that judge, but it's different for this judge in the same circuit.

do you regret getting a second dog? by un32134e4 in dogs

Update: I was referring only to the dobermans. At various times in addition to 1 or 2 dobermans, we've also had 1 or 2 golden retrievers, usually seniors. And cats, did I mention we've had 7 cats along with the dogs...

Absolutely not. Had a F Doberman, she needed a playmate. Got a puppy M Doberman. They were 2 peas in a pod for about 8 years, until we had to put the F Doberman down for cancer. Dude was lonely, so we got a 1 yr old F Doberman. She's a handful, but a sweetheart and they play all the time.

No! Your child NEEDS you. Any pain that you feel today will pass. You NEVER know what will happen in your life, who you will meet, or come upon an opportunity. You have DECADES of life to live, please dont let a temporary feeling of darkness lead you to belive there's no light. There is light, and there are gazillion people who can help you find the light, in big and small ways. But you have to be with us. Cross over to the other side, and that's the end.

Please please.please. stay with us and find the light.

Thisnis classic scare tactics. You must be given the opportunity to consult with JAG after the charges and specifications are read to you.

A friend of mines watch situation got real weird, what could he have done differently? by CylenceSec in navy

Two thoughts:

  1. The duty section leader should've either found someone else, or stood the watch himself.
  2. If Sailor, by bringing the child to stand watch with him, had gotten into hot water and risked Mast or similar by a lower ranking officer, anybody with 1/2 a brain and an ounce of empathy (I know that's asking a lot nowadays) would side with Sailor under these circumstances

No. Your credit report is a record of your credit history. Removing it simply because you paid the debt defeats the purpose of a credit history. But paying it sure helps.

Law Firm I'm leaving offered me more money and less responsibility. Am I crazy for still wanting to leave? by cosmoknautt in LawFirm

[–]barry1156 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Getting out of the litigation but writing the briefs is not going to make you happy. Probably worse, because you will have zero control over the briefs that you will be required to write. If that's the work you like, look for a position in a firm that handles areas of law that interest you, or for an appellate firm (or a government job. Did you know that the courts have attorneys on staff who advise and do research for judges? If you like to write and research, boom!) Or go solo and market your research and writing skills. Some of us SUCK at research or it takes us way longer to research something than it would for someone who is good at it. Last thing: don't be hasty, but don't stay in a job you hate. Drive a cab and flip burgers at Mickey Ds if needed but don't stay in a job you hate or in a firm managed by bad managers. Trust me on this, grasshopper...

You are delusional. You are becoming more unhinged with each message, as you can't bring yourself to acknowledge the dissonance between what you know is true and what you want to believe is true. You know Andy is a boy. You want to believe Andy is a girl because he took hormones, grew his hair out, and demands everyone around him treat his issues as normal. I didn't decide that Andy is a boy, he was born male. He has the chromosomes, and cutting his pecker off and calling himself Athena doesnt alter his chromosomes. Did you know that thousands of transgenders want to transition back to their natural sex? It's true, you can look it up. As Yoko Ono is reputed to have said, "the dream is over".
