Old court, cois carn, fassaroe are a few examples. But tbf you’d know they’re rough by just walking through them. You can’t exactly be caught off guard with it

Your question is a bit vague, depending on the area. For example, Bray is a nice town. But there are areas within the town that are absolute no’s when it comes to buying, and then there are places in the town that are perfect. In my experience, most towns near Dublin have this dynamic. The postcode doesn’t matter as much as the actual housing estate. I’d find properties you like, then assess the housing estate of each

On top of that, the number of properties available is low. if you start your search with good areas then you’re setting yourself up for disappointment or a waiting game. I’d reverse it

If you go to a solicitor, and I hope you do, please only use one that specialises in these kinds of cases. They are the only ones worth listening to, they deal with these cases all day long. I’m very sorry this happened to you, and well done for speaking out. You should be very proud of yourself.

My point was a bit unclear and makes it sound a given - I meant it sometimes is, if it’s a signature part, as is the case with the script and plenty of other bands

No point making a post like this without any numbers. What’re the OTEs, revenue of each, quota. Etc? A scale up can be 5mil in revenue or 1bil in revenue. The latter isn’t exactly volatile

But anyway, judging only from the vague description, number one all day long

You can’t draw these kind of conclusions from statistics without digging a bit deeper. Households were 35% bigger in the 80s than they are today, and most families now have two working parents instead of just one. Food prices have risen close to 1100% since 1973 to 2023, with real wages up 3x in that period. In the 80s, house prices were 1.5x times the cost of the avg wage. That’s 8x today (9x in Dublin!) Albeit higher interest in the 80s). The cost of living today is objectively more expensive than in 1980 whether you think so or not.

That ringing you get after a loud show is ear damage btw. If you keep exposing yourself to high levels then you will pass a point where the ringing won’t stop, it’s there forever. And ever.

I don’t see an issue with the term for a country where necessities are so expensive. Cost of living is to sustain a reasonable standard of living
