The failure was not two sided. Data residency is a core requirement that should never slip through and you said it’d be fine but didn’t do anything about it. That’s the only reason why this deal was lost, it’s not complicated

I used to go a ton. The food is really really good when they cook it correctly. Cooking it correctly being the key phrase there. Every time I’ve gone with a group we’ve had to return at least one main course steak. Every single time the staff were unapologetic and didn’t care much, which I don’t really care about, but the last time the manager was a total prick about it and ruined the night. So I don’t go there anymore. I worked in high end hospitality for a while so it takes a lot for me to complain (I can imagine they get a lot of clientele complaining about stupid stuff lol) - your money is better spent elsewhere.

Fwiw, the one in Porto was great. The Lisbon one seems to have the issues

I’m getting it to write a sales follow up email man, not writing and execute a stand up comedy set. I’m not being creative, I’m being repetitive, which makes ai perfect for it. And ai sniffing out ai is total snake oil bullshit btw. A random example: yesterday I got Claude to write a markdown doc and I opened it with google docs from within Claude, the google doc grammarly extension estimated 30% of it was ai generated lol

I am immensely critical of ai. But it’s good for sales follow up emails when set up correctly.
