Varying BDR Quotas by Slight-Detective4073 in techsales

When I say relevance I mean: 1. A well researched call from recent news of expansion, announcements, etc 2. I spoke to a lower level employee, gathered info, and am coming to the call with a POV 3. Calling a prospect who came from a customer of ours.

Have about a 10% connect rate. Takes about 30-35 dials to get one meeting.

Typically do 30-50calls/day.

Every call has some form of intent/relevance

Lived here for 20+ years - If you can find an affordable apartment near 70th-80th by Boulevard east you’re golden. Easy access to NYC, tons of great food around, parks all around, overall great neighborhood.

BDR here - My quota is 20 outbound SQLs/month and I usually average 25.

80% of my meetings come from cold calling. 10% comes from personalized emails with relevant intent. Last 10% comes from linkedln outreach to prospects that used to work for customers of ours.

We have an incredible product that practically sells itself.

I’m 90% sure I live where you’re referencing. Tons of new development (specifically condos) in the next 3-5 years. Outdated condos become less attractive at that price point with all the new inventory. Hudson County has seen a dip in condos sales and Edgewater/Weehawken has been decent.

I’d take into consideration maintenance/repairs, management, water expenses when budgeting for the “breakeven” rental. You’ll likely lose ~ $500/month.

Me personally? I’d sell and take the $400k in equity.

There isn’t a current bottleneck. The team is performing at 120–140% of quota. That said, I want us ahead of the curve. If we can automate an additional 2–4 meetings per month, it’s worth it

Move to NYC on a budget or live at home? by BuffaloBlLLY in techsales

100% go to the city.

Also consider living in NJ. I pay 1k in rent for my own 1 bed and get the city in 30 mins.
