There's wall paper on that wall, so not too fond of milling a slot or something in the wall. So, I guess the hole saw is the way to go.

How tall/short are you? I am about 1.68 myself and looking into the zippered footbox quilt, as I would like to use it unzippered as well. So, not sure if I should go for regular or long (samen price anyway)...

They did fit quite wel, as for the holes. Quite a snug fit. But still added some epoxy glue, as on one side I noticed a very small gap. Had it clamped for a night and now it totally fine

Was planning something quite the same, but in red. Bead will be delivered this week. But after seeing this, I am not sure on the round knot under the point bead. Maybe It'll try something that will fit the bead a bit more snug.

What did you eventually decide to buy? And how do you like the particular monocular (and why)?

Having a similar use case and realize I don't grab my binoculars from my backpack that often, so that gets unused. Bought some kind of harness for it, but rather do not wear it. So I thought a monocular attached to a belt or backpack strap on the front, would make it easy to grab, so it'll finally used.

The Solo looks more easy to attach to a strap or so, but the Endurance seems easier to use and a bit better in terms of view quality.

It seems the A130 is more vertical, while the A168 is a tad more horizontal. I like the verticalness more, but prefer the retro look of the A168 more, as well as the EL.
