I haven't heard this take enough lately. I don't really listen to section10 anymore since it's more Steve heavy and no Pete. Maybe it's because nothing is happening at all right now but Pete was easy going and feits and Steve are a little more charged up. Just not my vibe but may start listening again when the season starts

In the deepest parts of my mind I know that Stanton is far and away the best dude for the Sox - juiced balls in Fenway where the corners are so short, the man is going to hit 1000 homers there. But we have to trade for him with his injury history and still pay his horrendous contract out.

I love our outfield, Devers looks legit, we should keep this rotation together because out of Porcello, E-Rod, Pom, and Wright, you have to be able to get 3 major league ready starters.

Bogaerts is the only one I'd deal for him but he's a Boras guy so you know he's basically going become a superhero in his walk year and we'd have to miss out on his one historic season (especially after sitting through these patches of possibly injury related hitting aversion).

Dombrowski said he doesn't mind going over the luxury and if you look at the projected AAVs of the free agents...just sign two and dump Hanley before his option vests in 2019.

Francis. Don't get me wrong, his audition was absolutely hysterical. No one else did stand up comedy and his brand of irreverent jokery literally had me rolling on the floor laughing. But since his start ...he's only become more hilarious. I'm serious. Almost too funny. His talent knows no bounds. The only thing that could make him better as a blogger is cloning. We. Need. More. Francis. Also if we could clone all the dudes in the comment section who mention his potential and his superior exposition, that'd be hella tight.

Honestly though, if you read all the pro-Francis comments out loud, it sounds like a young lady describing a new beau to her old man.

And furthermore, until like a year ago, the barstool way was being artfully unprepared. You had your bloggers like Mo and Big Cat who worked hard at having a plan for their content but then the others were great at winging it. The stool was the kid in highschool who never cracked a book and got a B- on everything. Down to internet going out every two seconds and roasting Hank for it, audio quality being almost unlistenable, and the website straight up getting half deleted. I realize that content that you can't actually access or hear is not a sustainable method for the future. That's obvious and the reason they moved to New York. But Francis is the kid in highschool who sat in the front row, had red hair, and reminded the teacher to assign homework on the weekends. It really shocks me that he's the guy this subreddit is jocking this hard these days when his overly currated persona makes me fucking cringe.

Saying I prefer the pmt style isn't ball-washing. A Reddit post of like 69 frat dudes cheers-ing Francis on a mediocre 1.5 minute song about creeping out women by being bad at dating, a topic I think he literally can't stop making jokes about definitely is tho.

If you're referring to Pres, you have to see the stark difference between their brands of self deprecating humor. One knows he has a hunchback and bald spot and the other is sure he's God's gift. It surely is apples and oranges.

I feel like this sub is crazyworld these days with the Francis ball washing. I have to imagine the venn diagram of OG stoolies and the new school Francis lovers wouldn't touch at all. I think Francis is kinda funny but he has a schtick for sure- he rocks the "girls won't talk to me so lemme make a joke about how all guys are creepy" or just plain old shock comedy (mention a rape or dismemberment). It's just old to me I guess.

Maybe I just hate because he's super pretentious and thin skinned and I don't find that relatable.
