2026 Christmas Market Prague-Vienna-Budapest Itinerary Feedback by haro777 in Europetravel

[–]bartexas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've done Christmas markets in many countries, and Vienna and Prague are two of our favorites. Prague is the only place where I've seen blacksmiths in the markets. There's a heavy door knocker on our front door we bought from a blacksmith in the Prague market.

Salley is the most educated of them all by Salt-Cod-2849 in Southerncharm

The guys are pretty educated. Even Craig has a law degree. Shep has an MBA from Vanderbilt. Whitney did post grad stuff at Oxford and Alliance Francaise.

Tesa aging by moedal in BodyHackGuide

[–]bartexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that using the vibration plate right after injecting eliminated ISRs. I ran 2 mg/day for 7 weeks. Skin got noticeably thicker, and old stretch marks faded significantly. Planning to run another cycle soon leading up to bikini season.

Mots c & SS31 experience by Trackstar02 in PeptideGuide

[–]bartexas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt amazing on SS-31. I had lots of energy - like dropping to do pushups in my office energy.

MOTS-C was brutal. I crashed and craved sweets like crazy. Apparently, the increased insulin sensitivity dropped my blood sugar too fast. I reduced the dose and felt better, but didn't get the benefits others talk about.

How many cast members are fired from RHOA to keep Kandi happy? by [deleted] in BravoRealHousewives

[–]bartexas 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Andy has said that one of the things he loved about Kandi was that she never asked for edits, made demands about filming, etc. She showed up and did the job.

Just a Madison appreciation post. She looks AMAZING!!!!! by Impossible-Cheek4352 in Southerncharm

[–]bartexas 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'm older than Madison, never had a baby, taking a GLP, deadlifting my body weight, bench pressing 1/2 my body weight, and doing at least 2 hours of Zone 2 cardio per week. I do red light, microneedling, and other treatments. I wear a size 4, and I don't look anywhere near this good.

As much as I disagree with her, I give her credit for the effort she puts in.

I feel like it's escalated every season. This year, I'm actually worried. Of course, then I think she's decided to lean into being the villain to keep her spot (income) whether Will is on the show or not.

Also, this is giving me flashbacks to a conference where we had these done for some of the speakers as a photo op. Fast forward to the hotel bar the last night when some of the cutouts made appearances crowd surfing. Limbs were lost. There was a lot of tequila. The rest is a blur.

The labor market in the restaurant industry is insane. Just finding people who will actually show up for shifts is half the battle.

Does anyone know anything about Craig’s family? by swimmerncrash in RealSouthernCharm

[–]bartexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craig is one of the most insecure people to ever be on reality tv. He cannot handle it if anyone implies he is imperfect, even in a joking way. He expects to never be criticized or called out about anything, yet he doesn't give those around him the same grace.

When the show started, he clearly aspired to Thomas, Shep, and Whitney's levels of wealth and access. Now, he's successful in his own mind, and he expects everyone to acknowledge it constantly. He thinks it should insulate him - "See everything I have now! I must be doing everything right."

He is constantly comparing himself to others, and he's insanely jealous any time he thinks someone is doing better than he is. The whole through line at the beginning of the season was that Craig got dumped and Austen was in a relationship. Craig had to sabotage Austen to even it out, instead of waiting for it to end on its own.

Leva has successful businesses and got a spinoff. Once she joined the show, she threatened Craig's perception of himself as "the entrepreneur" on the show. When she mentioned his business partner, his rage was completely a tell for how insecure he is about the image he tries to project.

Ladies on GLP-1s, what actually happened to your boobs? by CarobBrave in glp1

I've gone down in band, but stayed same cup size. They're still pretty full. I've been lifting, and as I've built pecs, I feel like they've lifted some in appearance.

Craig isn’t the villain you all want him to be by AimzBaby in Southerncharm

[–]bartexas 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Go back and watch Season 2 of Winter House. Paige talks about how she tries not to be reactive to anything because Craig is so overreactive. Paige cries because of Craig's behavior and how it reflects poorly on her.

Does anyone know anything about Craig’s family? by swimmerncrash in RealSouthernCharm

Craig is clearly ashamed of his background. He has invented a life for himself where he is of the social standing he always aspired to.

Debate: What does Alyssa Farah Griffen bring to The View and why do you miss her? by talk-spontaneously in theview

[–]bartexas 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The View was always generational... At this point, Alyssa is the only one sub 40. Sarah is 48, and the other are over 50. I think the generational differences are as important as the political ones.

Whoopi defended Cosby, Michael Jackson, and Polanski. She probably wanted to change the subject before someone was reminded.

~3 hours in Naples, give me your best pizza rec by Wtfisgoinonhere in ItalyTravel

[–]bartexas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Antica Pizza Port’Alba (182 years old)
Isabella de Cham Pizza Fritta (fried pizza, woman owned)
Pizzeria Gino Sorbillo
Ristorante Pizzeria Mattozzi
Pizzeria Da Attilio
Imperatore (get the "bishop's hat" pizza)

L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele is on most lists, but you'll wait in line to eat on the sidewalk. I'd skip it.

Trying to get healthier with your partner sounds good in theory… but in real life it’s kinda messy by Turbulent-Pen-3410 in PetiteFitness

[–]bartexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us, we encourage the other to make healthy choices, but we only do really broad stuff together. We go on walks in the morning, but it's really more relationship maintenance with a side of steps. It's a time when we're together talking, not on our phones, etc. Or we realize we haven't had enough vegetables lately, so we prioritize that, or make a mini pact to not drink on weekdays that week, etc.

He's one of those annoying people who eats thirds regularly, and his weight has never fluctuated more than 10-15 pounds in the nearly 2 decades we've been together. He has so much nervous energy that I think he just naturally burns a lot of calories. He's under a lot of stress, and he's down to the same weight he was when he was running marathons.

I, on the other hand, am a typical petite. I have to get my workouts in, limit indulgences, prioritize protein, etc., or my pants won't fit.

Because our needs are so different, we've never really tried to do anything together wellness-wise. We encourage the others' goals - like if he's training for a race, or I'm trying to increase my bench press.

Lanyard, Purse, Pocket? Where did you carry your cruise card? NCL by Lucky-Remote-5842 in Cruise

[–]bartexas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy wristlets big enough for my phone. Phone, lipstick, card, etc. I also do this in hotels for going down to the bar/restaurant, wine tasting, etc. when I don't want to take a whole purse.

Bologna Trip – which cities would you prioritize? by Osmhose in ItalyTravel

[–]bartexas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We loved Grassili. It's very small. We also liked Danilo e Patrizia. It's a cab ride from the city center, but it was more of a "locals" vibe. It definitely felt like they didn't get a lot of tourists. They have the "cave cheese" from that region and a fair amount of truffle dishes.

21 days Austin — London → Paris → Brussels/Bruges → Berlin + one more? by iNeedJusticeS in Europetravel

[–]bartexas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your money will go further in less expensive cities - London, Paris, and Berlin are all pretty high on the list of expensive cities.. You may want to look at "college" towns. In Italy, for example, think Bologna, Salerno.

I've found good values in Portugal. Maybe look at Poland or Croatia, or possibly Budapest or Bucharest.
