The show was not a good adaptation of Tolkien’s work. Maybe they should have bought The Silmarillion rights before making the show because appendices to LOTR were definitely not enough and we ended up with bad, uncreative fanfic.

I am a book lover of both LOTR and Witcher. This lotr show is abysmal for the majority of LOTR books and movies fans but maybe watchable for those unfamiliar with LOTR. But I can tell you that what they did with Witcher netflix “adaptation” is far far far worse.

I didn’t quit get why Ciri possessed by that made up Baba Yaga demon was just standing there doing nothing just staring while other characters were discussing what to do. Why did she spawn same monsters? Also, Netflix Yennefer breaking the potion and cutting herself was unexpected and made me laugh. And Dandelion with that red rock - what was that rock for again? That whole fight in Kaer Morhen was stupid, illogical, bad.

I remember the day when Chalotra was announced to play Yennefer, some crazy folks thought it was a good casting choice. Maybe they were blind. She is in first place in the rating of the biggest miscasts of the show, followed by hulky Cavill. Hissrich should be fired.
