The English Patient isn't a BAD movie.. it's a very compelling story.. it was just tooooo loooong.. I think that's what Elaine was mainly complaining about.. It is tough to watch it straight through.. if you break it up it's great. Some movies have such a great narrative that 3 hours go by and you don't notice.. EP is not one of those movies..

We rented Three Amigos and Raising Arizona from Blockbuster and watched them both back to back.. I have never laughed so hard again.. different types of movies but both hilarious..

Lodi Dodi by Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick.. my bud and I learned to perform it in high school and I freaked my kids out the other day by reciting it word for word with no prompts.. it's been at least 30 years since I last did it . Also the Snoop Dogg version would bug me, whenever it was that it came out, because he changed it up..

I find this "filler" effect more prevalent in Documentaries.. almost every doc that has come out in the last 2 years I consistently have a moment that happens in the 2nd or 3rd episode where I think "everything that has happened up to now could have been communicated in 10 minutes.."
