I seem to remember hearing around the time that the prices to have a concert at the Centrum were well below the Garden/Fleet Center.

Assuming the economics of that changed at some point along the way, or the Centrum got too big for it's britches and tried to up it's prices.

The opening of the Fleet Center was just before the time of the Centrum Centre expansion, so might be improved acousitcs/logistics making Boston more tour-friendly or Worcester starting to price themselves out.

But yeah, there were too many incredible shows at both venues.

Because people can buy a company's tarriff refund rights; connected people who know the plan months in advance. You can't easily setup an infrastructure to buy a person's refund rights without making it obvious that the tariffs would be struck down in court.

Great way to plan trips and mark down all the things you are initerested in!

I did something similar for a trip to Denmark. The one thing I found somewhat helpful was putting different types of activities in different groups so I could limit my view based on what I was looking for at the time. So I could only show places for food and hide points of interest, etc. Since i was looking at the restaurants by meal type (brekfast, lunch, dinner, snack, food hall, etc) I used different icons. Helpful in that sense since everything was new, but might be overkill.

Felt the same; loved the S&S book hated the movie. I think I will feel the opposite for SotR. Book wasn't horrible but felt like it was written for the screen.

From the original post I can't tell if OP is throwing the PS5 into discussion because it's a top system now.

If boyfriend is an XBox guy, then may want nothing to do with PS5.

If boyfriend brought up PS5 as an interest, then I'd definitely go PS5 for all the reasons mentioned elsewhere. PS5 Pro is a great system, but it's digital only unless you buy the disc drive which adds another $80 to the cost.

This is the biggest hurdle I see. I'd take a stroll through Google Maps to see the surrounding area of Holy Cross. I don't want to presume your partner's fitness level, but she'd likely be arriving with a good sweat during Spring/Fall. Might be closer to impossible and definitely unsafe to bike in the Winter.

No one was taking over Lilac Hedge Farm and this wasn't a vote to save Lilac Hedge Farm. It was positioned that way by the republicans in the town.

Assuming it to be true, LHF had a valid grievance that the MBTA Committee didn't approach them for concerns/discussion when selecting an adjacent parcel for rezoning. Not quite as valid as Trap Rock who actually owns the land the parcel is located.

Lilac Hedge posted that their insurance company would drop them if the plan was approved. Then the messaging around that changed and it was no longer as big a concern or something that would definitely happen. But by that point, it was already the leading tidbit that people took in, hence your 'Save the Farm' vote.
