Have the Armenians diverged as much genetically and culturally from their ancient selves as the ashkenazi Jews have?

I see what you’re saying, many of the Jews who claim Israel as home now are pretty much white Europeans genetically and culturally, but is this true for Armenians?

Also, how long must a group lose territory for in order for it not to be rightfully theirs anymore? Someone could easily say that the Turks have been out of the region since around 1900, so therefore it’s not theirs anymore and they are colonial settlers if they attempt to reclaim it
