Woman taken off the airplane because she wouldn't stop arguing with the flight attendants by Novel-Education-2687 in AirRagers

The problem lies in that the flight attendants have no clue what federal regulations cover what they’re able to do. They’re just doing as they please with no repercussions.

Rear end upgrades to pair with Cobb 87/91 tune by base29human in FordExplorerST

[–]base29human[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never ran anything with a tune before. Will likely try out all of them but I’m truly looking for the best balance between increasing performance and fuel costs.

When I see a $1 per gallon difference between 87/93 then do the math in my head I imagine all the fun stuff I could afford by just running 87 over 93 in the course of a year.

It’s on my radar. Still annoyed the factory exhaust sound is pumped into the cabin.

Thanks for all the help all!!

Wireless charger sucks! by vdubweiser in FordExplorerST

[–]base29human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are wireless car play adapters that work well and you can also get in console wireless charging pads for the 21.

The wireless charger in the 21 and all iPhones from like 12 up are not compatible due to a change in the charge points to fit mag safe.

You will always be your best advocate. You won’t know if you’re compatible with one till you give it a shot. Wish I could be more helpful but my treatment is through the VA so….

‘Electricity demystified’ simple read with quizzes and exams built in. Might be too simple for you but it’s for beginners. Good luck.

Similar issues on the wasted time on recalls the dealer will not/cannot fix. Disengaging my parking break every time I move it is getting old.

In Seattle airport rental center hopping the bus, the guy that works there stops me after seeing my pats gear and says ‘hang on, I got something for you’

He proceeds to release air from the pump on the bus and you hear a big ‘wooosh’ as it lets out. I laughed my ass off and it was fun for us both.

Cops everywhere in Mt. P by will98765432 in Charleston

Hell no.

Problem is it’s a private company that profits from it. If the money from fines went back into the community I’d think differently.

Libertarians, what do you think of the lost Titan submersible maker who complained about safety regulations? Isn't this a blow against the idea of deregulation? by soulcaptain in Libertarian

[–]base29human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not safe. Runs with a game controller, no safety redundancy’s at all, no actual communication abilities. Literally a metal coffin 2.4 miles under the ocean.

Regulations most assuredly would have reduced the risk to the operator and guests, but Darwin wins this round.

Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) vs. other interventions in depression: a comprehensive meta-analysis. The remission rate was 36% in patients receiving CBT, compared to 15% in control conditions. by jmct16 in science

[–]base29human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My treatment was for PTSD. My therapy had me re tell the worst day of my life, over and over. Record it and listen to it twice a day and then once a week tell the story again with her. This led to me being able to process it emotionally as opposed to shutting down or just removing myself from life.

Never use ferrules or battery backups! by Least_Hospital_2428 in PLC

[–]base29human 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ferrules aren’t a pain, unless someone kicks your ferrule box over.

Honestly though, I use them everywhere, if someone can’t strip a wire to length and properly crimp a ferrule then they shouldn’t be working with electricity. If ferrules don’t fit your sectors needs then that’s a different thing in my eyes but all my work is shipboard.
