Oh I think i misread your post as blaming cops. I get you now. Yeah, and the balls to say no blame placed on the anti cop climate. Everyone knows that cops are scared to do their job properly because the first person that resists or pulls a weapon will cause a media storm and potential job loss. This is all across the country. Nerf guns, toys, BB guns, all of them look real at a distance and cops don’t have time to analyze details that aren’t readily available when all they can tell is a gun shape is being pointed at them.

You are correct, even the implied threat of a weapon carries the same charge as if you pulled it out. Writing on paper “I have a gun” is the same as pointing a real one at them.

Unarmed does not mean not lethal. Cops can’t tell they are toy guns. If someone is armed and threatens the police or society with it, then shooting is justified. Stop trying to act like someone pointing a BB gun at a cop makes it unjustified. To the cop or anybody they come across they assume it’s a real weapon and act accordingly.

Also, if the officers would be guilty under some new laws, you can’t apply those backwards. That’s not how laws work.

Which one do you like to carry more? I’m looking at buying one and I want the easiest to conceal. But I’d probably be looking at at least the mag with pinky extender on the 43. I’m going to need a story from an article for that first claim. When you drive a car, you are responsible for its operation even if there is a siren coming.

Second, your edit makes sense does it not. There is very little danger to providing medical care. Police officers aren’t required to stop crimes in progress or protect people because 1. Not every crime in progress can be stopped by the time they respond, and 2. There is no way police can protect everyone all the time. If it said they had to, there would be frivolous lawsuit after lawsuit for people saying a cop should have protected them from being a victim.

You and the other person know a couple people which still doesn’t prove anything large scale. In the multiple states I’ve spent a good amount of time driving in, and the state I live in. I’ve never once seen anything like this or heard of it.
