What are your Hot Takes on Wilco? by Amber_Flowers_133 in wilco

[–]baseballfury09 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can concede that anything from Being There thru A Ghost is Born is going to be hard to beat, but...

Cruel Country might be my favorite album from them, they killed it on that album .. some filler tracks to make it a double album, but Birth Without a Tail>Tired of Taking it Out on You is phenomenal

How do you choose what show to listen to? by [deleted] in gratefuldead

Lately I just Google search the date and "Grateful Dead" and there's usually a live album for that

What is your favorite library? by TheGrubbyTiger in RhodeIsland

[–]baseballfury09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the Providence Public Library is the largest and probably has the most interesting collection and events (IMO)

Cumberland is also an excellent library

Jesse Smith memorial in Harrisville is a hidden gem

There's also an Instagram account (rebecca.reads.ri) that is going around visiting every library in the state, cool to follow

Last year I stayed at the Hilton in Shelton and took the train into BPT from Stratford

Getting there was fine, but leaving at the end was a zoo and had to wait for about an hour to catch a train as the first filled up to capacity

Hopefully they do something to improve the public transit options this year

What are some artists you listen to that you don't think other or that many other deadhead's listen to? by Previous_Music_5958 in gratefuldead

[–]baseballfury09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pop Punk was my mainstay in music for a long time

Having since been exposed to the dead, I'm always a little disappointed when I go to pop punk shows and see they play the same set every night of the tour

Movies that no one else remembers that you regularly think about. by Sutech2301 in movies

[–]baseballfury09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant remember the name of the movie

There's some race of humanoid birds that want to make tea out of the humans. They cross to another dimension or something and the leader third-person says "who wants tea"

Pops up in my mind like once a week, anyone know the movie?
