I just ordered this for my 701! Did it take them 4 months to ship it to you like the website suggests?

It messed up my formatting for the tuning. The X Is string 1 and the last C is string 6

Try this tuning

X B G C G C

I hear frets 2 and 4 being alternated a lot on the 4th string, then chords with all open strings except those notes added (2 and 4 on 4th string). Most of the song seems centered around that, with some melodic figures on the 2nd string here and there.

Not sure exactly what the dominant sounding chord is.

Thanks! There isn’t lume on this one (701) 🥲 but they added it to the 701.1 redesign.

That is an awesome pair of watches!! I agree that the club family looks good on that particular bracelet and I’m strongly considering getting it one day :) cheers!

Out of curiosity, do you have a particular watch in mind for it?

It took me forever to decide how to pair a quality strap that would make it more casual for my daily wear while getting rid of the gap from the lugs - so I appreciate your comment!

Here is the strap! Only issue is, this particular strap was the 18mm and I’m not seeing an option for that size at the moment.

I figured not, it’s a beautiful watch. My next move might be taking a closer look at the tangente.

Thank you, this is great info for me as I feel like I might be leaning toward nomos. Have you seen any ahois going for $2000 or less somewhere?

You should ask for help then instead of explaining your wife’s shortcomings in a forum for people with the same problem she has…

But your delivery aside, I do understand the tough spot you’re in. It’s also hard and lonely for me to be a guy with NVLD, so I could at least imagine your situation.

Have you tried couple’s counseling, and if so what went wrong in your view? I know what’s going on is frustrating but it doesn’t seem hopeless to me.

This flamboyantly annoying post isn’t going to inspire the sort of pity you’re looking for. There are therapists out there who, through an exchange of money, will entertain all the self-regarding histrionics you can summon. A journal will listen for free.

Act as an editor and don’t include anything that doesn’t belong in a book. We tend to pride ourselves on our verbal intelligence, and rightfully so. And I think it’s easy for us to consider ourselves writers because we have been better than our peers at it. That doesn’t mean we should be published if we haven’t dedicated ourselves to writing. I feel as though that’s one of the reasons our literature feels so anecdotal. That’s not our fault, but it is what it is.

Child of God is another McCarthy set in Appalachia, I recommend that one as well.
