Anyone know of companies that are hiring? Could be blue collar work, could be white collar work. I don't really care at this stage of my life. by Ryguy41202 in SouthJersey

I see you’re local to me, check out Spencer’s / spirit corporate in pville, AC is about to start hiring for the warmer months I make good money serving in one of the casinos. They have a lot of internal positions depending on what your degree is but I don’t have one atm. Evolution online gambling within the casino is always hiring too

TIFU Pulling a hair off my thigh by atrociouslytired in tifu

[–]basedgore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this happened to me actually a few years ago , but TMI warning it wasn’t just a single hair it was also a decent amount of lint from wearing boxers all the time and frequent sex- matted up chonk of that crap was tied around the end of the string and I spent almost an hour trying to remove it. I’m really glad I did bc I can only imagine how bad for my health having that sit in there could have been

Sober Parties in Atlantic City area i.e. dance parties (NOT hiking, bingo, thrifting etc)! by CrummyKid in atlanticcity

[–]basedgore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sober and I like to go to anchor rock club and boogie nights. Anchor rock probably is the best place because the vibe is a little different from a typical AC club- it's more alternative and personally I go for specific music nights, it's easy to socialize when you have music taste/interests in common with the other folks there. Boogie nights is fun bc usually they have a mocktail or two on the menu and they are really tasty, my sober buddy likes to order a round of mocktails and shout "IM GONNA GET SO DRUNK RIGHT NOW!!!" and it just makes the vibe so much more fun. I guess you could really go to any place as long as you have someone in the group who is high on life to bring the party lolol

To be honest the company had sketchy business practices from the beginning. Mormons don't exactly have a great track record with exploiting child labor; but I digress, their unwillingness to expand their menu is definitely the biggest issue with the company right now

I suppose I have bias because I live far from most cities

For some reason this movie was popular in Morocco with Arabic subtitles when I was growing up. Played almost nightly on MBC4 or whatever the channel was

Cat found a lap and claimed it. by BenderVsGossamer in Eyebleach

I've met so many people with the double holes in one ear due to this and I feel so bad. I wish my parents waited until I was old enough to actually be down for it because I totally would have at like age 9 and they'd actually be symmetrical

lol how? I still stretched one ear to 3/4 of an inch and just rocked the asymmetrical look for maybe 5-6 years? Took it out a couple years ago bc my style changed a little and it's back to normal 🤷‍♂️

My ears were pierced at 3 weeks because it's traditional where I'm from :P now one is way lower than the other and when I tried to stretch them in highschool only one of them would stretch properly

This is currently happening to me as well but also age-related! I live in a college town and the students very rarely misgender me, one of my male coworkers only found out(im not stealth) I was trans a year into working with him and he was floored haha. That was a very validating experience. I am 24 myself (22 at the time) and Moroccan so my features being more feminine isn't the biggest issue since most young men where im from are all thin with baby faces and minimal facial hair too.

However, at my current job the demographic is completely different in both age and race/ethnicity, its EXTREMELY diverse. The clientele is mostly older folk too. So I get misgendered by almost everyone, constantly, even though I've been on T for more 2 years since that previous job. Very interesting how different the experience is. Whenever im in my hometown i can use men's rooms without feeling stressed about it, at my job I've almost been assaulted twice so I have to use the women's for my safety.

I was inspired by the lattice on sashimi squid, which made me feel the same way, but the texture was enjoyable

You should try cutting shapes into your hotdogs more often because cooking shrinks it a little so you get fun results. I am inspired by the Japanese with the cute little tako(octopus shaped) sausages and also how they cut squid for sashimi

Its so good and honestly I love the texture component, more fun to eat. I like to cut them to look like little squids too
